When working for Intriem they don't just treat you like an employee. They treat you like family. They are very supportive to all there employees. They also care for all clients. I truly enjoy working with Intriem Healthcare.

my experience with Interim Health Care started out wonderfully, however a month it turned into a nitemare! i had to change my schedule 4 times to accomodate the women i had, she and i got along very well and i liked her, until this past mon, she normally arrived at 11:15 i rushed home to meet her, i waited 1/2 hour for her then called Interim to ask if she was late ect. I was told by ellie that she was no longer working for me!!!! iwas speechless!!! you mean for today??? no not at all i was told i asked why again and again but only got "she has decided not to work with you' are you sending someone else i asked??" "no we dont have anybody for that area" so here i was with 2 weeks (for she had been on vaca for a week) of laundry, a dirty bath room, dirty floors ect. i then talked to Bill, manager??? and he was rude, condisending and told me to find another company!! said he would call highland valley, which he never did, what kind of a company treats the elderly, or any one, this way?? it is absolutely unacceptable as well as abusive to the elderly, i am 83 years old and i need some help with these household chores. Interim has no business dealing with the elderly/handicaped people AT ALL their mission statement is totally bogus and a danger to elderly persons mental health.

Do not use this “Health Care” service unless you want to feel abused, especially if you are a senior or seeking services for a senior! I tried their services. The worker, who was scheduled to come once every week, usually came only two or three times a month. Interim called right beforehand (after you had already made plans) to say she was not coming in. Sometimes she would not make up her hours, so I went without service. The attitude of the staff to this was very calloused and matter of fact. It was “tough luck” “Sorry Charlie” that’s the way it is WITH NO APOLOGY OR CARE AT ALL. Further, they rewarded this employee with an award for “Employee of the Month.” Understandably, I wanted to bring this issue of unreliability to the administration, and was told on a couple of occasions that they would call me back. The call never came. They were not even willing to talk to the employee about the fact that she was missing so much work. When I expressed my concern on a couple of occasions, the administration became nasty and told me that if I didn’t like it: to go elsewhere. I did. Interim is an awful company that does not care about people.

Horrible experience. If our regular aid could not make her 31/2 hour shift Interum was not able to send a replacement. This happened several times. When we originally spoke to Bill from interum he said if our regular aid could not make a shift he has been known to fill in himself. That never happened. A sub was never sent. When our aid told us she was exposed to Covid. Bill said she could still finish her shift. We asked her to leave because of the guidelines I read on line. Bill said guidelines are different for medical staff. I asked if he could email me the guidelines, he said no I could find them on line. I told him I didn’t think the relationship with his company was working and he said he agreed and to consider the previous day our last. We have moved on . We have 2 incredible agencies we are working with. They are going above and beyond to accommodate us. Happy to be moving on from our horrible experience with Interum Health Care.

Unreliable staffing. employees constantly calling in sick, last minute changes. Constant staff turnover. Quality of staff keeps getting lower & lower. I understand there is a staffing shortage everywhere, but what happened to the the elderly & vulnerable populations receiving priority ? They don't seem to taking any steps to supply a vulnerable population with the help they need.
