My father-in-law stayed at Carespring for short-term rehabilitation following a heart attack, and we could not be more grateful for the care he received. The nursing and therapy teams were compassionate and kept our family informed every step of the way. He was treated with dignity and patience, which gave him the confidence needed to transition safely back to his daily life. The facility itself was clean, welcoming, and the staff did an excellent job monitoring his health. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a place for recovery for a loved one.

Everyone I met was friendly and genuinely seemed to care about the residents. The staff was professional, attentive, and always willing to answer questions. The residents looked happy and engaged, and it was clear that a lot of effort goes into creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment. I wanted to leave a review after the recent passing of my beloved grandma. She had been a resident at Highlandspring of Fort Thomas and received wonderful care there until she needed to be transferred to the hospital, where she eventually passed away. Even through this difficult time, the staff at Highlandspring showed incredible compassion. They kept our family informed, supported us during her transition to the hospital, and continued to check in afterward. The dignity and kindness they showed my grandma throughout her stay meant the world to us. The facility was always clean, welcoming, and focused on resident comfort — qualities that stood out from the very first visit. We are grateful for the time she spent there and the positive difference the team made in her final months. The outdoor spaces she enjoyed, the attentive therapy staff, and the caring environment all helped her feel at home. While nothing can ease the pain of losing her, knowing she was well cared for at Highlandspring brings us comfort. Thank you to everyone at Highlandspring of Ft. Thomas for treating my grandma with such respect and warmth. You helped make her last chapter a peaceful one.

Call lights go unanswered. Family member has been in this facility for 2 weeks and still has not had a shower even though we have asked several times. We have been told its the holidays and we are short staffed so they can't give showers. Asked for admission or baseline labs to be obtained, still have not had lab work done. Had a care conference and the administration seems to have the same lazy and non-chalant attitude. Asking for referrals to be sent out today. Multiple awards displayed in their lobby, but this is obviously due to paperwork compliance and a 3 day survey once a year. It is definitely not a reflection of the care that is happening or not happening here. This facility is not for the resident, it is for staff convenience only. We also asked that a brief (diaper) not be put on family member so that he can use the bathroom and the urinal. We were told by the nurse, "we don't get people up at night."
