Heritage at Deer Creek

Heritage at Deer Creek is an assisted living, enhanced assisted living, and memory care community in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The community comprises 76 units located in Waukesha County and offers a range of apartment layouts suited to different care needs.

Assisted Living residents receive up to 28 hours of personalized care each week and have access to 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes and private bathrooms featuring walk-in showers. Enhanced Assisted Living and Memory Care residents choose from spacious studio options. All residents may furnish their apartments with personal items and décor. The community is staffed 24/7 with a full-time licensed nurse, personalized emergency call pendants, and uses fall-detection technology and smart bathroom systems to support resident health and safety.

Enhanced Assisted Living serves seniors requiring more physical and medical assistance through extensive help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication administration. The community is licensed as a Community Based Residential Facility and maintains a higher staff-to-resident ratio than Assisted Living. Three meals daily, specialized diets, and snacks are provided.

Memory Care is designed for residents with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, offering 24-hour compassionate care with personalized nutrition, medication monitoring, and wellness programs. The building features an uncomplicated design that allows residents to move freely throughout a secure environment, and a safe garden courtyard provides outdoor space. A coordinated calendar of activities is developed specifically to enrich residents' lives and promote engagement.
