Updating as my mom has been there about a year now. Recently there have been a lot of staffing changes and a lot of issues going on. My mother has been mistreated by several people and little to nothing being done about it. There has been several issues with my mom not being cleaned or changed when asked. Being left in poop for hours and even vomit. She has been needing medical attention she is not receiving. Then most recently she has had a nurse give her only a portion of her medication. When asked for all of it te nurse was snappy with her and walked off. My mother then realized one of her night time pills was in there being given to her as a morning medicine. I attempted to call and speak with someone about this issue. The first time I was told they would speak to my mom about it but didn’t. When I found out the severity of the issue I called back to see why they haven’t talked to her and to let them know it was more than 2 medications that weren’t given to her. I’m not sure who else to talk to but both me and my mom are ever upset at this falling on deaf ears. Considering reporting to the state.

Overall a great place. We’ve had a few problems here and there but they have been very prompt to take care of situations when brought to their attention. So much better than the last nursing home my mom was at!

now when a resident ask to go to hospital they get told oh your fine you have a cold you guys did not call her an ambulance which is her right so she had to threaten to call 911 so then you called and she almost DIED now were not letting residents write grievances? And forcing residents to take a shower you say is "all in good fun"- Dorian administer. how dare you guys. Reporting you to state AGAIN now were forcing residents to shower? When a resident says no mutiple times to a shower and she cant push her own wheelchair and you forcibly push her in the shower room aka brenda and elizabeth CNAs and then laugh at said resident during shower and said "oh dont worry you will laugh about this afterwards" you didnt fire them you didnt report them to the nursing board or anything. CARE ABOUT YOUR RESIDENTS. Apparently you guys didnt review my edit you guys used people that have intellectual disabilities and had them leave a review made a email for them and posted what wasn't true. One person who left a review cant even form a sentence and i mean that with utmost respect but yet you want to pretend they can work a cell phone and leave a review. One was my friend and he is so intellectually disabled and so depressed because of that place he doesn't even want to die there you have made him that miserable and he is my friend! How dare you use people like this and God sees all and we all get old... please remember that. That Allah sees All. people that live in your community are afraid of reprucssions and will say anything. Except me. I will continue this fight until you stop. greenwood health and living since i cant leave another review i will just keep editing apprently my review caused a uproar and now your going to residents, elderly vets, someone mom, grandma, sister, brother and asking them for positive reviews. You see you assumed everyone hated me there but there are a couple workers there that hate working there and i get details just like this stuff. Leave the elderly people alone! I left greenwood health and living a few months and just now and am able to tell my story. The abuse and neglect that goes on there in unreal. You complain and advocate for yourself they either lie or get mad you keep complaining they ignore you. I have pictures of a nurse I had to report to the nursing board because she was giving me double meds and then lied and my roommate heard her say she had to double up because she didn't have the right strength when I googled the medication and they were the same strength. They dont do shots properly. They dont respect privacy there were numerous times my roommate had to be changed on a stand up lift and they would take off her clothes in front of me. They abuse the dementia patients. A nurse there even called state on them. Im a 29 year old who is severely chronically ill and they wouldn't even put on gloves to use my PORT my CENTRAL LINE which could cause sepsis and could kill me. They depended on me to tell them when to empty my catheter bag and I have memory loss due to brain stem damage from radiation and the bag constantly busted getting urine all over the floor and my dead mom's cover. I had a CNA yell at me for drinking so much not knowing that I had severe diabetes and that is a sign they yelled at me for DRINKING to much. They should have caught the signs. I had to ask for a A1C test. They have no idea about super pubic care. Im muslim they constantly violated my wishes. I was a nurse before I got sick I know right from wrong and these nurses clearly dont know right from wrong. I still talk to a person today from there and they are abusive still to this day not passing out ice water or making people sit in urine. This place is a disgrace and needs to be shut down. Im finally opening up. They even gave my mail to the wrong person and they opened which is illegal and have they compensated me for that package? NOPE. I am warning you do NOT send your family to greenwood health and living in could go on and but let's just say abuse and neglect are common in this facility. May Allah guide them.
