Absolutely horrible! One of my family members ended up discharging herself due to lack of basic needs being met. For instance, waiting two hours in bed for her therapy. Then she was told she was drinking too much water hence having to pee too much, after the doctor told her she needed to drink a lot of water. And at one point was told she had to wait 25 minutes to pee because her nurses aid was on break! She indicated that The food was disgusting. But she needed to eat because she was hungry.. unacceptable. Google is making me check at least one star, but I would give it -10 stars

My husband is currently in the short stay rehab division of Fairview Commons. From the start he has been very well taken care of by caring and compassionate staff members who work hard to ensure that he is safe and comfortable. From the cheerful staff members on the front desk, to the doctor, the nurses, the aides and the physical therapists, all combine to ensure the best outcomes for the patients. I cannot say enough good things about the excellent quality of his care there.

Family member went for rehab, recieved 1 day of rehab exercises in the week they stayed. They were supposed to issue a refund because they require 2 weeks of payment in advance, 2 months later and no refund. They only care about money, not the patients. Only compliment I can give is their food is good.

I'd really love to give 4.5 stars: pretty good, not perfect. A friend of mine was in for a three week stay...I couldn't see him because of Covid, but dealt with members of the staff by phone in helping with his care and discharge. They were always friendly, though I felt they were stressed and understaffed at times. A special thanks goes out to the social worker, Hareklea (sp?): she was particularly helpful and I feel went beyond the call of duty in my friend's care and discharge.

I have been at the Commons 5x in the past year and a half, three times for fractures and twice for surgeries. I can't say enough positive things about my experience in the rehab wing. The staff has been welcoming, kind, efficient and professional at all times. I enjoy the meals here and keep gaining weight with each visit! Tne P/T therapists are great and with their encouragement I have made rapid progress. My dog was even allowed to visit often. My room was large, private and clean. All in all, it's been a very relaxing visit, somewhere between a spa and being with my family. I'm actually in no rush to go back home.
