Wonderful care. My mom felt like she was home. The staff was incredibly loving and caring. I felt she was safe and comfortable. Had her own space and yet able to interact when she wanted to. I would do it all over again if I had to. Thank you all for loving my mom.

I have been a nurse for almost 20 years. I have worked all over the country and in many different fields. That being said, Encore of Hugo is a wonderful place. The patient to resident ratio is better than state standards and all of the staff are very caring and wonderful people. The caregivers here truly care and are not just in it the field for money. This Encore is all memory care and facility has been adapted well to accommodate that. Every resident has their own room and bathroom and the facility is gorgeous. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place!

We reached out to Encore and were pleased with the tour we were given, and signed paperwork for an hour and were assigned a room. It was not until we had all of my mother in law's things loaded and were headed over to move her in that they called and cancelled the final paperwork signing and then proceeded to ghost us. We've not been able to reach anyone and I'm really grateful that we have her at Brookdale. If you are researching memory care, reach out to them. This place is sketchy.

My mom was placed here when my dad could no longer care for her after 12 years of Alzheimer's. I was skeptical at first as my mom always begged for us not to put her in a facility because she worked in one growing up and knew the conditions. Thankfully after seeing the place and how well the staff work with the patients I had no more skepticism. The aids here are top notch and go above and beyond and truly care for their patients. Its not just a job to most of them its a calling, It takes a special person to continuously get close to people and watch them transition to the afterlife. The people here genuinely cared for our mom and im grateful she was able to spend the remaining few months of her life here. One aid in particular learned a song my mom loved and also had a beautiful voice and knack for singing. Mom could go from a full on crying breakdown to Kelly singing to her and she would pop out of it and start singing with Kelly. All of this makes me feel so much happier that she was in the best care she could have been before her passing. Thank you all soo much for the care my mom received while here.

My mother was there until she broke her hip. Then the vice president of operations, Michael Bolling wrongfully, terminated her contract, and refused to allow her to return. Thankfully, I had every piece of documentation of services they provide and hired an attorney. I won my case, and she was allowed to return. In the interim, she had been placed by the hospital in a HORRIBLE home nursing home facility, The building administrator and staff were appalled that she was kicked out. They wrongfully terminated the local building administrator. The vice president of operations is trying to change the state stuff as he does not want any residents on hospice. This is a memory care unit. Unfortunately, due to the progression of the disease most if not all residents end up on hospice. The nursing assistants were wonderful and did the best they could under a horrible leadership of corporate greed and incompetence! My mom has since passed. Stay away!
