My 88 year old dad with dementia uses a walker. Enrolled him in the two week Respite program. No one checked to ensure he was eating or getting proper hydration. Only one nurse on one occasion walked him to the dining area to eat He sat in a recliner there 24/7. We pulled him out after 5 days due to lack of care.

I was not happy when I arrived. I was nauseous because I had to sit in the back of the van
and was hurting because of a pacemaker I had received the day before. My bed was to small for me, I felt like I was going to fall out of it.
Since this point I have changed my mind, I love it here. The staff are kind and try help when they can. If you ever lose Tiffany it will be a sad day for the residents, she's a VERY caring person.I have apologize to everyone for the way I acted when I got here.
I would highly recommend this facility.

If I was asking to provide a one word summary of our experience with Cumberland Pointe I would say it's the CULTURE of the entire staff. Mom has been here 9 months and was in assisted living, upon an issue we moved her to stilled nursing. During this entire period I've been here daily to see mom as a son and not the full time caregiver. The care received has exceeded my abilities and I've been able to spend the final time with mom as a devoted son. Myself and family are always greeted warmly and any changes to her are clearly communicated both ways. She is well cared for and is safe for her. The culture of the staff shows, concerned for the patient, respect for all, safety for all and the well-being of all. Great place and great care.
