My family and I are so grateful for the dedication of Patty Soper and her team. From the moment my mother arrived at the facility, Patty has guided us in establishing her care. It’s clear that Patty is truly dedicated to her residents.

Today we moved my Mother in law from assisted living to memory care. The transition went very smoothly due to Patty, the director. Patty was so kind, reassuring and Jay moved all the heavy stuff and Shana took out all the garbage. We have worked with Patty for over 5 years and she is so supportive and such an advocate for my husband and I. She goes the extra mile with communication and always takes time with my husband, who is the POA. I am a retired nurse and have worked in over 100 assisted living facilities as a wound care nurse. I have never met such a caring, kind, and supportive director. She knows all of the patients names and gives hugs as we walk the hallway. I have talked with the staff and asked how long they have been working at Ocotillo Place and most said a few months to a few years and they stay because of Patty. She goes the extra mile and we love her and grateful she is there for my mother in law. Brenda Mallory

Poorly managed, disorganized. On many days residents get medications and meals with unexceptable delays. Onsite leadership is a mess, executive office looks like a bomb went off. General cleanliness of the facility is poor. Staff are unhappy and vocal. I moved my mother out after 9 months, all the staff said it was the right move "because the care here is poor". Great location someone needs to take control and clean house before the state closes this facility down.

I was delivering mail and stumbled across a resident who had been stuck outside. He explained to me that he was locked out for over 30 minutes before I had showed up. He was in a wheel chair and soiled himself. I stood outside with him for 15 minutes before I walked around the building looking for an unlocked door. I finally was able to get in through the employee break room. I was calling out for a CARE GIVER to come help him and there was not a soul in sight. I struggled to wheel him inside with one arm (or else the door would have shut and been locked again) and when we finally made it inside we had to walk for 5 minutes before we saw someone. Who then told me he could wheel himself. I explained to her the situation and no remorse was shown. I couldn’t imagine my grandpa being stuck outside, in 100 degree weather , wheelchair bound. Unacceptable, how long would he have been locked outside if I didn’t show up when I did? Please do better for your residents.
