My mother has been in Memory Care here for 5 years. I have the peace of mind that knowing she is cared for, entertained and loved. There are many activities and they often take her over to the AL side to watch even though she isn’t very verbal. The food always smells and looks wonderful and there’s always a variety. When you walk in it’s airy and bright and cheerful and is immaculate. But most importantly my mom always seems happy and wears a smile. The staff is attentive and ensures my mom’s needs are met. I am thankful for Churchland House and the care they provide for their residents.

My earlier review follows. However, after 7 months I would like to UPDATE and say I have found Churchland House to be the best option available for my mom. I can’t imagine a better AL for her particular needs. While aging is never easy, especially with many health and aging issues, mom has experienced very strong care from dedicated staff. As I do not live nearby, I appreciate the “extras” many of the caregivers have gone out of their way to provide when mom has needed extra attention and support. They do a good job of keeping me appropriately informed and striving to keep mom safe with her limited mobility. When something needs to be addressed, I have found the management team willing and capable of working through issues. The nursing staff works long dedicated hours. They have difficult jobs and exhibit patience in performing them. The activities staff and the dining staff - as well as the aids, housekeeping, maintenance crew and front office/reception staff have been friendly and responsive. In this very difficult service industry, Churchland House works hard to have the right people working with them to maintain a strong level of care.<br><br>Previous review…<br>My interaction with the management and staff at Churchland House has been positive. Christel assisted us in placing mom when, practically overnight, we found ourselves in a desperate situation. The management team has been extremely helpful in the transition and MANY of the staff and care team members have made concerted efforts to welcome and embrace mom in her day to day activities, regardless of the type of day she is having. The past few months were overwhelming and this crew (way too many people to name) provided a safe landing spot for mom. Assisted living is a tough process to navigate; I am extremely appreciative of this supportive community.

Highly recommend this warm, caring, family-friendly community. Leadership is strong and consistent, not a revolving door, which is vital in the healthcare industry. They communicate, listen and provide solutions, which is comforting.💝

My husband has been welcomed into this caring, clean and compassionate assisted living community! He feels well looked after as needed, he enjoys delicious meals, talking with new friends and mostly he feels very safe! The staff is always friendly & professional. Highly recommend you visit to see for yourself. Mrs. Campbell
