My wife had an accident and I pushed the button for the nurse waited and waited no one so I went up to the nurses station and there was no one but I seen three nurses standing around having a powow while the the alarm was going off for my wifes room I had to go to the front desk to ask for help

If you're looking to have your loved one cared for, or pass with any kind of dignity, this is NOT the place. The less than minimal care that was given to my mother was communicated to staff and supervisors. After having a less than professional conversation with the night supv Ez, he not only yelled at me but proceeded to hang up on me. I left messages for both directors and other management and NOT ONE of them returned my call or followed up with us after they had wrongly identified my mother twice just in my presence alone. The staff was unable to communicate well with eachother. The employees started arguing amongst themselves right in front of their station for all to see and hear after the first misidentication. They might get changed, bathed or fed or relieved from pain, but each day was a struggle to get accomplished here, esp if a family member wasn't present.

What care you get is sufficient. However waiting for someone to come into your room when you can’t use the gizmo to call a nurse can make the wait interminable!!!! I sit here 10 hrs a day with my husband and virtually no one comes in unless they are performing a service such as meals, wound change or meds.

My dad has been here for a month. Citizens Care is so nice. The nurses, the respiratory therapists, and the CNAs are excellent. He's been at a number if CMS 5 stars and I have to say, they cannot compare to Citizens Care. We are loving this facility.
