This place is a nightmare the people that worked there doesn’t speak good English had no clue as to what to do doing an emergency. I had to check out and be transported back to the hospital, but the young lady all she could say was you’re in pain you’re in pain. You’re in pain. You’re in pain. You’re in pain as if it was the only few words of English. She knew she didn’t know how to get in touch with the supervisor and they later ended up getting my medication‘s and now I’m dealing with someone else that doesn’t speak good English, but the manager of the supervisor are the person that’s in charge and is running the place gave on her voicemail, a number that has been disconnected as her personal number and the gentleman that doesn’t speak English as well. Said that her phone got cut off. She’ll be paying the bill. This is absolutely nightmare so if I can save you the drama in the trouble, please do not send your loved ones there. I was only going there for rehab for physical therapy. That was it, but if I had to be placed in that place, I would’ve screamed to get out. Be blessed and hope you don’t have to deal with these people.

My mom stayed at Cherokee Park for over a month. She loved the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the therapy. She said if she were to stay anywhere again for rehab, it would be Cherokee Park.

Most horrible experience I have ever been thru. Horrible staff, horrible care, rude staff, bed that was 100 years old, literally, did not work, had no help getting to restroom with my broken hip, I had to phone home to put someone on hold , so of I didn't make it to restroom on my own. Got skipped on dinner at least one night. Never answered the call light, don't even have intercom in room. Horrible horrible place, don't let them fool you, I would not leave my dog for care in this place. I never got my meds when needed, wàs told they have to order it every day, that they don't keep on premises, and guess what it comes from Tennessee, if u want your loved ones to suffer, just take them here, I promise u they will suffer, john Coates posted as well and yes they love to yell at patients and slam doors, never had ice in water, couldn't even get coffee, I could go on and on, if u want to know more, message me on Facebook, would love to sue this place. My stay was in September 2025, I have no ideal why anyone would give a good review on this place, they have to be fake reviews. People read the bad ones 1st.

Over the years I have been to many skilled nursing rehab facilities with my mother. We had never gone to Cherokee before, but I am so grateful we did this last time. The staff was extremely caring and contentious. They went above and beyond to treat my mother on both physical and emotional levels. So much of recovery is based on having the right mentality coupled with PT and OT. It’s above obvious that the staff at Cherokee knows this. They even helped my mom plan a little birthday party for me since she would be there on my birthday! I cannot say enough good things about my mother’s experience at Cherokee. It’s rare to find a staff this involved many fields, but Cherokee has clearly created a culture that truly puts the patients first. I am so grateful to them!
