My aunt is a resident at charter, going on a year. Love the staff there and they love her.The nurses are great, especially Olga and Joyce.When she was sick they stayed on it and called me to inform me with everything.The aids are great and sit with her to keep her company, when she feels lonely.The director and nursing supervisor, comes a talk to her. Just love love the the staff at charter .Also the executive director Janna.She’s always available to talk to you about any concerns.The front desk staff are so polite.

I would not recommend Charter Senior Living based on my family's experience. I have witnessed staff spending time on their phones, including FaceTime calls while on duty. I have also personally observed staff vaping on the property. In addition, many staff members wear street clothes rather than professional attire, making it difficult at times to distinguish employees from visitors.<br>Communication has been poor, and I have had to repeatedly follow up on concerns regarding my loved one's care. Families should not have to constantly monitor care to ensure basic needs are being met.<br>When concerns are raised, there should be accountability, transparency, and timely follow-up. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Choosing a facility for a loved one is a major decision, and based on what I have observed, I cannot recommend this facility. Wished they had an option for zero stars……

My sister is a resident at this facility, and I would not recommend it. The facility is understaffed, and there is a lack of professionalism throughout. Staff who answer the phones are often rude, and many employees appear unprepared for work, wearing casual street clothes rather than presenting a professional appearance.<br>Caregivers are frequently moved from hallway to hallway, resulting in inconsistent care. The building often has a strong unpleasant odor, and I have observed concerns regarding residents’ hygiene and overall attention to their needs. Even when personal items are labeled, they do not seem to be consistently maintained or accounted for.<br>What is most disappointing is that concerns brought to management do not appear to be taken seriously. There seems to be no accountability in addressing issues. Families should not have to repeatedly follow up on basic care concerns and expect meaningful action.<br>Families trust facilities like this to provide compassionate, dignified care for their loved ones. Unfortunately, my families experience has been disappointing and has left me with serious concerns about the quality of care being provided.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of care provided at this facility. During my interactions with residents and staff, I observed serious concerns regarding resident care and supervision.<br><br>Many residents appeared to require more assistance than they were receiving, and there seemed to be an overreliance on outside hospice providers to meet residents’ daily care needs. In my opinion, facility staff were often not attentive enough to residents, and concerns about resident comfort and hygiene were not addressed promptly.<br><br>I also observed residents with significant skin breakdown and pressure injuries, which raised concerns about the quality of monitoring and preventative care being provided. Families considering this facility should ask detailed questions about staffing levels, staff training, resident care protocols, and how medical concerns are addressed.<br><br>Based on my experience and observations, I would not recommend this facility.

Facility is clean. No foul odors. My lived one is happy here. She reports that the food is good.
