Bridgeport is amazing! The staff are very nice and have the residents best interest at heart! Couldn’t ask for a better LTC.

Bridgeport Healthcare Center is officially a 5 STAR overall on CMS Care Compare. As a long term care nurse for many years and having worked in several different facilities I can say Bridgeport Healthcare Center does an excellent job at ensuring the care being provided is of the highest quality. The Advanced 360 rehab unit has beautiful spacious rooms with a private bathroom and an exceptional rehab team that has much success on restoring someone back to their prior level of function. I would absolutely recommend this place for short term rehab or long term care. I actually chose Bridgeport for my own mother’s rehab in 2025.

Treated my mother-in-law terribly. They serve awful food, refuse to give medication when needed, argue with patients and visitors, and only attempt to be cordial and polite when threatened with retaliation, a bad review and leaving with your loved one. Record any communications with the social workers there, they’ll be awful toward you and deny every bit of it.

I give this place one star. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!! I was recently a patient there and I had many issues like not getting a bath when told I would. Also waiting long periods of time for an Aide to come into my room after ringing the buzzer. I ENDED UP HAVING TO CALL A STATE OMBUDSMAN TO HELP ME WITH THESE ISSUES. I knew THEN I made a HUGE mistake coming to this facility. But the thing that really made me leave the place was in the middle of the night an Aide came into my room woke me up and said to me THEY ARE NOT TAKING YOUR HEALTH SERIOUSLY HERE. I WANT to now THANK THAT AIDE for telling me that. The next day I started making arrangements to be moved to another Nursing Home. IF YOU really LOVE your LOVED ONE I highly recommend you do NOT Admitt Your Loved One to this facility!!!! BEING THERE WAS THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!
