After visiting 11 different assisted living communities, we knew the moment we walked into Brandywine that this was the right place for our dad . Making the decision to move a parent into assisted living is one of the hardest and most emotional decisions a family can face, but the kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine care shown by the staff immediately put us at ease.<br><br>A very special thank you to Kerby, Hannah, Kathy, and Schemeka for going above and beyond every step of the way. They welcomed our dad with such warmth and respect, took the time to truly get to know him, and made him feel comfortable from day one. Watching him happy, smiling, and settling in so well has brought our family an incredible sense of relief and peace of mind that we honestly didn’t think was possible during this transition.<br><br>We are beyond grateful for the love and support Brandywine has shown our family. Choosing Brandywine was the best decision we could have made, and we couldn’t be happier knowing our dad is in such caring and capable hands.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Brandywine’s team in a professional capacity, and I can confidently say they are exceptional. Their responsiveness is outstanding, and they demonstrate a deep understanding of each resident’s individual needs. January 2, 2026<br>My mom, Maxine H. was a resident at Brandywine at Middlebrook Crossing for approximately one and a half years. She first arrived there and was able to participate in the dining room and activities. In February of 2025, my mom spent a month in the hospital and arrived back to Brandywine in March in their assisted living. She was bedridden from that point on, until she passed away Christmas day. The kindness and care from all the nurses and caregivers is beyond what I ever imagined. The entire staff, from the front desk to the kitchen help, made my mom's stay, a wonderful experience. The compassion shown by this incredible staff was overwhelming.<br><br>About three years ago, when my mom was independent, we moved her into a brand-new facility, a few miles away in Bridgewater. The place was only a year old at that point. Don’t let appearance fool you...The place was beautiful, but the care was horrible! My mom almost died from the lack of observation on the watch of the nurse and aides there. She was rushed to the hospital, and during her stay, not one staff member, medical or administrative, ever called to see how she was. At that point, we decided she would not return to that facility. It was a blessing in disguise because it made me move her out of there into the Brandywine. The best decision I ever made for my mom. The continued care at Brandywine made my mom's last year and a half wonderful.<br><br>There are way too many staff members, nurses, caregivers, housekeeping and kitchen staff to name individually, but I have all of them to thank for their warmth and compassion to my mom and my family.<br><br>Mindy F<br><br>Daughter of Maxine H<br><br>Review from 2024<br>I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this place is! From the moment I met Julie, the move-in coordinator, I knew that my mom was in great hands! She made us feel so welcome and the place is like a home...every one of their staff is truly wonderful! I leave there feeling overjoyed knowing she is being taken care of. She previously was at a different assisted living facility, and it is like night and day!! I now feel that I do not have to be there everyday, like I had been at the other place. The activities here keep my mom busy and they do the most wonderful things!! I am so thankful for getting my mom into Brandywine...It has made my life and my moms life so much better . Thankyou to Julie and wonderful staff of Brandywine!! The staff are exceptional, genuinely compassionate, attentive, and patient. They take the time to learn each resident’s preferences, routines, and stories, which makes the care feel deeply personal. I’ve seen firsthand how they go above and beyond to ensure safety, comfort, and joy in daily life.

I’m writing to express concerns about the conduct of Jamie, the Reflection Coordinator. There have been repeated instances where her behavior toward certain staff members particularly those in the dietary department has come across as unprofessional and, at times, targeted or overly critical.
