Home Instead came through for me during a difficult time as I was looking for immediate care for my elderly mother. They are very professional. Their nurse care is a bonus as they have been able to pick up on changes in my mother’s needs early. The care givers are well trained. I especially like that they are always respectful of my mother’s wishes and focus on ensuring she makes her own independent decisions, providing a healthy emotional experience for my mother. I would recommend them without reservation.

I would like to express my gratitude for Home Instead's professional staff and assistance while my mom was in an acute rehabilitation center. The team's service and follow up was amazing and my mom was very comfortable with the caregivers. They got to know my mom's needs quickly and adapted to the facility environment so that we felt comfortable to be able to come and go as needed knowing that my mom had a resource and advocate. I would highly recommend this service and would use again in the future if needed.

Home Instead was such a huge help when we really needed it. They were able to get staff in place more quickly than I thought possible and did a fantastic job meeting our last-minute changes from day to day. Their flexible policy made it very easy to get care when we needed without making a long commitment. Quality of personnel is excellent - kind, caring people we could count on. The HomeInstead team are truly awesome, they work together to provide a great experience for their patient and their family. From the beginning of the process of researching and obtaining information around care for our elderly parents up through to the last day of providing care they have been outstanding. Bob and Lucy our client care coordinator made it their business to get to know our family and what our needs were. They then worked with their team, Maria, Shell, and others to provide us with the most awesome aide, Beverly that worked best with our Mom. Beverly made such a huge difference in our Mother's progress in recuperating from a broken hip. Having dementia it was not easy for Mom but Beverly and the HomeInstead team did a fabulous job in making a horrible situation into a pleasant one. Can not say enough about the HomeInstead Somerset team. Keep doing what you are doing.

When my mom needed a part-time aide, I called around to several other agencies before deciding on Home Instead in Somerset. Every experience I have had with Latasha in the office or Lucy who came to our home to assess our needs, has always been professional….but even better…they both were and continue to be so warm and supportive. Lynn the nurse who pops in periodically is also always patient and kind. We have been lucky enough to have Henrietta taking care of my mom at home and she is absolutely outstanding. She is lovely and an absolute star!! Henrietta always has a quiet competence to her and she makes my mom (and me….no small feat!) feel safe and cared for. Thank you all!!!
