About Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health

Bienvivir is El Paso's only National Program for All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE), a community-based healthcare program designed to serve the elderly population while allowing participants to remain in their homes when medically feasible. The program provides a comprehensive plan of care tailored to individual needs, with all services coordinated under one roof.

Participants receive primary care services with increased healthcare management and attention compared to traditional primary care, along with assigned social workers who serve as advocates and facilitators for the participant and their family. The community manages all medications on-site through its pharmacy, which collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and provides access to both prescription and over-the-counter medications.

Bienvivir addresses nutrition through a comprehensive meal service backed by registered dietitians who work with the kitchen team and interdisciplinary staff. Participants have unlimited access to physical and occupational therapy, with speech therapy available through trusted specialists within the provider network. Additional services include onsite comprehensive dental care, outpatient services such as wellness, lab tests, radiology, and select surgeries.

The community prioritizes mobility and convenience through wheelchair-accessible bus services for travel to facilities and specialist appointments. In-home services encompass attendant care, skilled nursing, and compassionate end-of-life care, including hospice services.

Bienvivir offers diverse recreational programs ranging from bingo and concerts to art and crafts activities, designed to keep participants active and engaged. Enrollment in the PACE program is determined by the State of Texas, and Bienvivir assists applicants through the application process.

Everyone is so helpful and attentive. My father is a client and receives services from them, from day care, medication, medical care, and transportation to and from doctors appointments and to the daycare facility. My father and my family are very pleased and grateful!

More like mal vivir, they're not caring about their clients, they're not fair to the workers, management is terrible. They care more about the money then the people. Don't leave your loved ones in their hands.

: Urgent Concern Regarding Los Abuelos Facility and Staff Conduct I want to document what happened today regarding my mother’s care at Los Abuelos. I placed a phone call to Los Abuelos to ask staff to be on the lookout for a letter from my mother. During the call, I attempted to speak with a woman named Julia. Instead of addressing my request, Julia spent nearly 20 minutes explaining what documents I would need for power of attorney and legal guardianship. She did not allow me to speak, despite my attempts to interject. I politely asked her to stop so I could save her time by explaining that we already have an attorney, and that I have held legal guardianship and power of attorney for my mother At that point, Julia hung up on me. I called back, but she did not answer. Following this, I received a call from someone named Audrey, who identified herself as being with Bienvivir. I do not know why someone from Bienvivir would contact me in this matter, as my mother is staying at Los Abuelos. While Audrey was polite, the entire sequence of events was highly unprofessional and raises serious concerns about communication and accountability at Los Abuelos. We are in the process of removing our mother from Los Abuelos due to ongoing issues, particularly with Julia, who we were told is the owner of the facility and lives in Mexico. Based on preliminary research, we are not confident that this information is even accurate. Additionally, the only contact information provided for Julia is a personal cell phone number and a personal Yahoo email address. This is unacceptable and does not inspire confidence in the professionalism or legitimacy of the facility’s operations. We will be pursuing this matter in full, as there is no way we can allow our mother to remain in a facility where staff cannot meet basic communication standards or respond appropriately to family concerns.

My mom jas been in this establishment for over six months and their service, attention to their clients, and sense of community and activities have changed my mom's life. Thank you to the wonderful staff there. One thing they do need to work on is the dentures department. They provide wonderful wax fittings but the actual came back nothing like them. They are working on correcting my moms dentures.
