My mother in law has been at Avita of Stroudwater for almost 8 months now. We are so extremely happy with how well she has adjusted and we are blessed to have the staff care for her like their own family. The residents are kept busy with many activities throughout the day and when we visit, the staff always welcomes us with smiles on their faces. My husband and I would highly recommend Avita for your loved ones!

If you are looking for memory care in the Portland area- this is the best one. The attention, care and love the staff provide to the residents is like no other place. You cannot go wrong here. The activities are jam packed and meaningful to all! This is the forever home for any one with memory impairment.

My 88 year old mother has been at Avita for about 8 months. Started in the day program and is now full time. From the minute I walked in and met the staff I knew we were in the right place. The staff is extremely professional and always ready to help. Their activities are many and so fun for all. The facility is kept very clean and your loved ones are treated with such respect and dignity. Table cloths, wine glasses for their soda, Delicious food. All done to make your loved one feel special. You always see the whole place smiling.

I was disappointed to see employees openly asking friends and social media contacts to leave reviews for a contest.
