Coastal Care Solutions has been an incredible support for our family over the past three years. I was introduced to Catherine Dorrington when Coastal Care Solutions, LLC was hired to take care of my friend's parents while they were away. I was also helping with their care on a non-medical level, and Catherine was amazing with her communication and her sensitivity. I met with her the first day and we developed a wonderful rapport which continued throughout the time that her staff was there. She had compiled a detailed binder with all the pertinent information for the staff. She was a great encouragement to me and one day when I was feeling concerned about the care that I was able to provide, she told me a story about another caregiver who had a similar situation with someone with dementia which helped me to feel much more reassured and less guilty. We organized a schedule together with her staff that allowed for flexibility based on the needs of the elderly couple and we updated it as needed. Each time she sent a new staff member to the home, she accompanied them and did the introductions. Her staff is also amazing! I was very relieved that they actually care about the people that they are serving. I have seen too many cases of care givers who do the bare minimum, are just there for a paycheck, and don't care about the client’s needs and feelings. One of her caregivers Julie, is an extremely caring and compassionate woman. She went above and beyond in this situation, and I was so thrilled that she did some very special and meaningful things for this elderly couple while they were in her care. I highly recommend Coastal Care Solutions, LLC and I have already been spreading the word amongst my friends.
