Would give a 4 1/2 rating but first time room transfer fee is (within same move in year) is way too exorbitant

Living here the past 3+ years have been the best 3+ years of my life. The staff is extremely caring, helpful, and responsive. Chef Eric and his staff work tirelessly to provide delicious meals. Unlike many independent senior living communities that just set a plate in front of you, we have choices. At breakfast, your eggs will be cooked fresh for you however you would like them. Besides two homemade soups and a full salad bar, all lunches and dinners offer two vegetables, a starch, and two entree choices. Furthermore, if you are a finicky eater like I am, all day you can order a sandwich, burger, or pizza, all made to order. There is a nice variety of recreational activities, from an exercise class in the full gym, to a variety of games, or an outing on the bus to restaurants, concerts, nature walks, etc. My favorite hour of the week, is Happy hour with beer, wine, snacks, and live music. We have a concierge available 24/7 to help with our needs, whether it is pulling your car up to the door, arranging to have a meal delivered, or helping to summon an ambulance when needed. Weekly housekeeping, with bed changing service is a wonderful benefit . Although all of the above is great, having wonderful friends you can see daily makes life so much more enriched.
