Do not choose this place for your family member. You will regret it. You will notice that there are barely any online reviews for The Landing, and the few that are available are many years old. There is a reason for that, I'm guessing. I believe that the ownership has changed hands recently. The staff seems very inexperienced. Systems that should be in place for this sort of establishment are lacking. There seems to be a lack of communication between the entire support staff running this facility.<br>It is so overwhelming trying to find the right place for your mother or father, especially when it is an unexpected or unplanned immediate need. On the surface The Landing sounds like a good option. It is not. The care is inconsistent, and unreliable at best. At it's worst, it's untrained and woefully understaffed. The staffing is inadequate, in no way do they have the amount of staff on duty everyday to meet the needs of all of the residents. And, for all their boasting about fresh local food, it is untrue. The food is terrible, not fresh, not local, and lacking in variety. Just ask any current resident that you pass by, and they will tell you just how much they dislike their dining experience. There is an abundance of local farms nearby that they could partner with to get fresh local produce and products, but unfortunately they do not. Please do your research before making this very important decision. Do not choose the Landing.
