I am currently at this facility for therapy and they have been great. Before I got here I was mostly bedbound and since participating in therapy I have became strong enough to transfer myself independently. I really appreciate the therapy team here. I want to thank Mr. Moses from OT who laid out a game plan and helped me get ready daily for Physocal Therapy. He came every morning to make sure that I was up,dressed and ready for Physical Therapy. Ms. Erica from PT who has consistently carrying it out and provided great assistance with transfers and preparing for a prosthetic. Ms. Kim from OT who went way above the call of duty to help me get dressed daily when no help from anyone else. With a smile, she became a slave driver who always made me go one more round when she herself had just given birth and sometimes abusing herself to help get me in shape. It worked and I am very grateful for it. I am very grateful for this team. I would invite the world to come to this team for Therapy. I would also like to Thank Ms. Tara who kept me out of trouble because I always stayed in trouble and kept me on the right track. I am thankful for this team.

Day shift 6am -2pm is great. But rest of day and night shifts sucks. But PT staff is awesome. They got me stronger from major back surgery. The food is awesome. The front office are great too. I was there from July 18 - July 31.

The worst Nursing home for your loved one ever!!! Starting with the administrator, Naquita: she is extremely terrible at her job; she lack compassion, doesn't take accountable (extremely defensive), and not trustworthy. She crosses professional boundaries by hindering discontinuation of excessive sedative medications to my loved one. Lied that the provider does not want to take my loved one off some of the sedative medications, when infact my request/complains were never brought to the providers attention. Naquita insisted that my loved one "must be on over sedative narcotic otherwise the patient be transfer to another facility". How can a person with cognitive deficit due to dementia (vulnerable brain) be medicated 3x/day (ongoingly) with multiple psychotropic medications (3)? Chemically restraining patient is what this facility tends to practice. My loved one was often extremely sleepy: fell out of wheelchair 2x while sleeping, unable to sit upright on the chair due to over sedation (had to lay down in bed for haircut), missed out on physical therapy, and the list goes on. Their nurses and techs are very rude, act out of frustrations often, lack interpersonal skills especially the workers in the lockdown unit - well except the African tech back there. Their meals are terrible; OFTEN COLD NOT EVEN WARM. My loved one is often left in bed soaked in urine. Multiple times I've been asked by the tech to bring incontinent bed pads, and that the facility gets very limited supplies monthly. 70% of my loved ones cloths were missing (even with name on them) in less than 1/4 of a year of living at Westridge Nursing home. Very old building with no recent renovation; closet and walls in the room are often leaking on rainy days: luggage with contents soaked. The ugly experiences could go on, but I'm glad I responded quickly and removed my loved one out of this facility. Please don't get deceive with empty promises by this facility. Your loved one deserves a better home.

This rating is based off my phone call to do volunteer work. I asked if volunteer work was allowed to which the lady i spoke with said no. After telling her a little bit more of what i was wanting to do like if they had game night or anything like that she said no and hung up.
