This is an amazing place for your love one to not just live but flourish in. Country setting with breathtaking views and it’s even better on the inside. Mom has been here a year and I’ve witnessed the most attentive staff starting from the top down. The manager Bree is patient, understanding and most important, effective at her job. She ensures the residents have an enriched and individualized experience which is very difficult in this mid sized home but impossible in larger cruise ship facilities. The culinary staff are a dynamic mother/daughter duo who work tirelessly to provide nutritious meals that fill the home with tempting aromas. They conscientiously cater to dietary needs while providing preferred foods and snacks, often tempting me to join the meals. The activities coordinator provides engagement tailored to individual needs while still balancing group dynamics and ever changing temperaments. All the staff are fun, polite and attentive caregivers who are kind and understanding of the special needs involved in memory care. I never worry about the service my mom receives because it’s done with commitment to treating her with dignity. The resident’s loved ones frequently visit creating one big family especially when we gather round the piano for a little ditty. I witness volunteers from the community and family members generously share time with all who reside here making for a jovial experience. The home is clean, well maintained and closer to medical facilities that belies this rural setting. If putting a horse out to pasture looks like this, then I’m ready to hang up my saddle right here and right now!
