Hello Altercare family!! I just wanted to reach out and give mayor kudos to a few employees that work at this facility, particularly in the physical therapy department. The names are Mark Skees PT, Heather Wolfe OT, and Jareb Darby OT. These individuals are the ones who dealt with my father when he arrived at the facility. My dad could not even walk because he suffered from a brain stroke. It took him several weeks to respond to any of the therapy they were attempting to do. But they did not give up on my dad. They were determined to see my dad improve. They did everything you could think of to get him moving and it all worked! My dad went from not being able to walk to taking baby steps and then began standing and then began to walk. It was so amazing to watch them interact with my dad who is in his late seventies. It took a few months of consistent therapy from the individuals I mentioned but my dad is now walking on his own. He is at the end of his physical therapy and should be getting released any day now. I believe Mark, Heather, and Jareb are the best at what they do and to be honest deserve a raise or at least be highly recognized by the people that are responsible for this facility. They deserve all the props for their hard work. What they did for my dad you can’t teach. Either you have it or you don’t and they have it! Take care of these employees because they are awesome and you definitely don’t want to lose them! Thanks again to the physical therapy team!! The heart beat of Altercare!!!!
