Shirley, what can i say about her? There are not enough words to describe her. This facility needs to have 15 more like her! You need to pay her more to train the younger aids what they truly need to do the right way. She is a breath of fresh air. Sometimes she comes in to my room singing, happy, she makes the beginning of the day feel great. From my time here, she does more than 3 aids together. She's like the Energizer Bunny. You should make her employee of the year. Thank you for your time. And this facility an A .

I would like to compile my review of each part of my mothers stay at this rehab. First i would like to give 5 stars to one of the aides who took care of my mom while she was there. She dressed so professionally and presented herself in a professional manner everyday she came to work. She was pleasant kind, so caring each interaction she had with my mom. She made sure she was clean and her bed was prepared each day. I was skeptical leaving my mom at a rehab for she would be alone. But this aide took some of those fears away just how she greeted me each day i came and told me how my mother was doing. On the day of discharge my mom told her she was going to miss her and she was the only one she spoke highly of. Shirley thank you for care, kindness, empathy and the compassion you showed towards my mother. Kudos to you, never change and keep being you. Thank you.

I was discharged from Hillcrest hospital after spending a week treatment due my fall on the ice that resulted in a broken rib and several broken vertebrae. When I arrived Advanced Health care at Landerhaven it was shift change and the staff was not ready for patients. That gave me a bad feeling and felt that I would be better going home. That feeling changed quickly when the shift team got organized. They were very friendly kind and very helpful. Top management we’re anxious to please and encouraged me and my wife to bring to there attention any issue. There modus operandi was “if we don’t know about we cannot fix it”. Indeed all issues that we raised were addressed in a timely manner. Our insurance did not cover the stay, so we paid in advance for 14 day stay. However, after eight days I felt well enough to go home. They promptly processed the refund and we received a check in about two weeks. Two areas of improvement: the patient beds need to be updated and the food quality improved.

I am writing to inform you of an employee Ida, she is kind, she works in housekeeping, and I can't find the words to tell you of her kindness and caring of them. She is older and inspires me. She is so happy as she works and sings most of the time, and enjoys her works and we should be very happy to have her working for you and wanted to let you know. You have a nurse's aide by the name of Kaela, who is just amazing. She is giving, kind, and helpful. She shows kindness to everyone. She is an angel for Landerhaven. My love to her. I recently spent 13 days at Advanced Health Care of Landerhaven. Luckily I was in fairly good shape when I entered the facility which is why I managed to get out so quickly. I was welcomed by Ivy the evening I arrived and she was a dear. She was so friendly and helpful. Not only was Ivy friendly and helpful, all of the staff was. They always called me by name and expressed interest in how I was doing. My progress appeared to be spread throughout the staff because if I mentioned to anyone that I was hoping to go home soon, they would always say they had heard that. They appear to feel a vested interest in getting the residents prepared to return home. The physical and occupational therapists were very helpful in getting me to the point where I could use the bathroom and walk around the building on my own after less than a week. The food was pretty good. Better than what I had been getting at the hospital I had been in prior to this.
