My sister took a fall and had an auto accident, resulting in a mandatory neck surgery. She entered Aegis Lake Union for respite care following the surgery. I was impressed that Aegis stepped up to help me transition Sandy into her beautiful apartment within 5 days of our first phone call. and it would have been quicker except the hospital discharge staff was not prepared.<br>Since then, Sandy has become quite comfortable with the staff - enjoys the food - and participates in many activities. She has regained the weight she lost and is much healthier than upon arrival. The nursing staff is quick to let me know if she has any issues or problems. We are very happy landing at Aegis Lake Union.

My dad moved into Aegis Lake Union about a month ago and we have had a very positive experience. Every single team member has been great in welcoming him and engaging him in the community. The facility is nicely appointed with attention to creating cozy community spaces. We had to move quickly, and I really appreciated how organized and helpful Linda and Brylle were to get everything in order. I feel like my dad is very well taken care of here. And the food is really good!

Aegis Lake Union is a wonderful place to live. I feel very cared for and the staff is most supportive. I especially love the roof deck and the views of Lake Union.

I stayed here for 2 weeks after a knee replacement. From my tour to my stay, marketing director Linda Rackner was fantastic, even contributing personal touches to specialize my short term room. All of the staff were incredibly quick to respond, positive, caring, and helpful. The amenities and activities and top notch. I actually look forward to stay here again in October when I have my other knee replaced. One of the aspects that made me choose this option is that residents socialize, participate in activities , smile and laugh.

My first three months living at Aegis Lake Union have been wonderful, and the staff has continuously proved warm, friendly and proactively helpful. The facility's theme is a beautiful tribute to "The Boys in the Boat" -- the 1936 U.W. crew team which won gold in the 1936 Olympics. The Aegis people are award-winning in my book as well. The rooms are comfortable and the views spectacular. I am enormously pleased to live in such a beautiful place with such interesting neighbors.
