Bee Brave NEMT does transports for Live Oak. We are in the center several times a day at different hours. The staff look happy. The center smells fresh unlike numerous other centers we visit. The residents look clean and well cared for. The rehab rooms are filled with patients doing therapy, there are activities happening, music in the background. Bee Brave has referred several patients to Live Oak and will continue to do so.

I was fortunate enough to visit Avir at Live Oak this week. This is one of the most beautiful facilities I’ve ever seen but beyond that is the team providing care is top notch.

Beautiful facility! The Social Worker Tiffany was amazing and was able to assist and provide great resources even before the discharge date so that we had all the information we needed ahead of time. The CNA’s were attentive. Our family was at ease with the help and guidance from Tiffany. Thank you again!

They do not care about their PT patients……they aren’t in any kind of hurry to assist when the patient needs assistance in getting up to go to the bathroom. They put a diaper on my very coherent 92 year old mom (who was just there for PT) and told her to just go in the diaper - my mom refused and made them take her to the bathroom. Her meals are ice cold (when they shouldn’t be). She was there 3 days before someone from PT took her to actually do PT!!!!!! Her leg is wrapped in an ace bandage that needed to be wrapped and the nurse ignored it……even after being asked to rewrap it!!! I’ve left 3 email, and 3 voicemails in 4 days and not one of them has been responded to! Currently working things out to bring her home so she can get the CARE she needs!!!!! DO NOT LEAVE ANY ONE YOU CARE ABOUT AT THIS FACILITY!!!!

My aunt was here for a few weeks and here are some horrible things she had to deal with:<br>1. She asked for ice for her water. A care taker put her finger in her water and said "no you dont need it, your water is fine"<br>2. She asked for help to go to the bathroom. A care taker told her "you're wearing depends, you can just go in there" and walked out of the room.<br>3. Any time she asked for help to go to the bathroom a person would come in, respond "oh ok" walk out and return over an hour (some times up to 3 hours) later to help her go to the bathroom.<br><br>This place is trash and people who work here are absolutely terrible. If you can find a better place for your loved one I highly advise to stay away from here.
