I have been to that facility to visit family members that have been in there for different reasons what I seen and what I have heard is that it is a wonderful facility with caring and compassionate employees. I found that the staff always has things for their clients to do and to enjoy. It seems like a family.

My mother inlaw was in the 100 wing until her passing on Jan 7 2026. She received the most wonderful care by all the Doctors, nurses and staff. They were also there for her family too. If we had questions or needed anything they got right on it. I highly recommend this amazing facility.

None of the staff asked who I was when I walked in. Often the reception desk was unstaffed. That made me concerned about security. No one seems to know what is going on. It’s extremely noisy and not conducive for rest. TVs are blaring from 6:30 am until 11pm. Patients should be required to use headphones. The walls are thin and noise from adjacent rooms can be clearly heard. The place is a maze and no one gives you a map and when you ask they tell you it’s not available. There is no set schedule for rehab. They come whenever. It’s a chaotic place and no one is in charge. They tell you you can come and visit anytime but when you come late in the evening, you can’t get in and no one explains to call the after hours number that is posted for deliveries. You need to be a mind reader to properly navigate.

There rehab portion of this facility was quite good. My Dad went in for rehab and his health took a turn for the worse. We put him in comfort care there based on the fact they said they could keep him comfortable. I asked specifically about weekend coverage. They said they could call an on call doctor to increase his medicine. My Dad was extremely uncomfortable on Sunday. Trying to find the head nurse was nearly impossible. When you do they have to wait forever to get approval to increase his medicine. My Dad suffered, we suffered watching him. Rehab good if your loved one needs comfort care take your loved one somewhere else. My mom was in another facility several years before and rested comfortably before her end

My father has been at Aaron Manor, Fairport for nearly three months. He receives wonderful care and the staff frequently calls me to apprise me of current events and Dad's personal well-being. For example this winter the flu has been widespread, they called and asked if I would approve a single antiviral preventative treatment. He is safe, comfortable and well looked after.
