About A Place Called Home Residential Care

A Place Called Home Residential Care 5 offers assisted living and memory care in Clovis, California, operating 10 small homes across five neighborhoods in Clovis and Fresno. Each home is a 6-bed residence in an established neighborhood rather than a wing of a larger facility, providing a family-style living environment.

Care is staffed with two caregivers throughout the day and one awake caregiver overnight, with registered nurses available 24 hours a day to direct care or visit homes. The community maintains a 1:3 care ratio and serves home-cooked meals prepared from scratch by caregivers daily, rather than catered or reheated options.

The Clovis locations include three homes on the same street, including the original home opened in June 2012; two homes in the quiet Quail Lake area with mature landscaping; one home in the established Harlan Ranch community; and a welcoming home on Montana Avenue near Shaw and Leonard cross-streets. An additional home serves the northeast Fresno area on Paula Avenue near the North Willow corridor.

Billing operates on a transparent monthly rate with no surprise level-of-care fees, per-task add-ons, or surcharges as needs change. A Luxury Living tier includes two homes on Powers and Locan that share a private courtyard, with a dedicated chef and complimentary personal services included.

My wife has been a resident of this wonderful care home for almost seven years. It is the second home located in Quail Lake residential gated community in Clovis. Quail Lake is made up of residential homes with beautiful landscaping. A Place Called Home is furnished and decorated just like your own home. Each of the other residences are equally lovely and inviting. The spotless home, personal rooms, baths, living room, kitchen and patio make up the environment, The meals, cooked expertly and fresh daily are matched only by the loving care of the "fanily" care-givers, couples that live with their residents. The love, attention and warmth have lengthened my wife's life and made mine secure in her safety, comfort and contentment.

I found the perfect 6 bed home, with 24/7 care, for my 94 year old Mother, last January, after searching and visiting many possibilities, in Fresno and Clovis. I was THRILLED with the LOVELY home, offering Mom, a bedroom, her own private bathroom, with a walk-in shower. A Place Called Home's ambience is warm, as well as, charming! The caregivers treat the clients with respect and dignity. I often hear them singing around the home. Meals are prepared with care, and look very appetizing to the eye. I am SO GRATEFUL l found, A Place Called Home!
