I love the program and all the fun volunteering experiences I got to do, like going to events and helping out. Jackie is super fun to be with and I love the way she is and how nice she is. She has made the experience very exciting and enjoyable and I love the fact that I got to meet new people.

My mom called me crying in pain after being ignored for over 2 hours without her prescribed pain medication. When I called Nurse Isle to find out what was going on, I was told they couldn’t get her medication because the door to the drug room was “jammed shut.” I told them I was on my way, and somehow, when I got there just 15 minutes later, the door was suddenly no longer a problem and they were able to access the medication. You can decide for yourself what to make of that. This is the kind of care my family received from a place trusted to look after vulnerable people recovering from surgery. My mom was left suffering, crying in pain, and I was given excuses instead of real solutions. I ultimately had to call 911 and have her transported back to the hospital because I no longer felt she was safe in their care. No family should ever have to wonder if their loved one is being ignored while sitting in pain. Based on our experience, I would never trust this facility with someone I love.

I came to Yuma nursing the first time I came here was last year.so I came back cause I like the place every single one .from the staff there nice people and they can take care of you in all the time u ask for is a good place to come and your time to get well and therapy staff too. they are on it so u can get well and go home I recommend this yuma nursing to come and get healthy and specially the C.N.A/S they work a lot to take care every body.and NURSES they are on it too .KITHEN WOW that good food they serve this is the only place that is clean and MAINTANCE STAFF AND HOUSEKEEPING and LAUNDRY STAFF thank u for your wonderful job thank u ..

My experience as a student doing the Shadowing a Med Tech program was amazing. I enjoyed coming every time and I always learned something new. The med techs and nurses were very helpful and willing to teach me and answer my questions. I also enjoyed being at the facility as it felt like a safe and teaching environment. By shadowing I saw what it’s like to be a med tech and a nurse, which helped motivate me towards my goal to become a nurse. I loved my experience at Yuma Nursing Center and I would like to come again!

I can’t say enough good things about Yuma Nursing Center and Rehab. From the moment we walked in, the facility was clean, welcoming, and well organized. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond for their residents. The nursing team communicates clearly and makes families feel involved and informed. The CNAs are kind and patient, always treating residents with dignity and respect. You can tell they genuinely care. Therapy services are excellent, and they really focus on helping residents regain strength and independence. It gives our family peace of mind knowing our loved one is in such good hands. Thank you to the entire team for the dedication and heart you put into your work every single day!
