Winslow Court is an assisted and senior living community located in the heart of Colorado Springs, Colorado, east of Palmer Park. The apartments were originally built as officer housing for Ent Air Force Base, giving them a more spacious, home-like layout than typical senior living units, with full kitchens, generous closets, and large windows that let in natural light.
The community offers custom levels of support so residents can move through different stages of care while staying in the same apartment. All care packages include an emergency response pendant and on-call personal care available 24 hours a day. A steady care team, with many staff members having more than 20 years at the community, provides day-to-day assistance.
Dining is restaurant-style, served from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily, with a full à la carte menu, rotating specials, and scratch-made favorites such as grilled salmon and a locally known Reuben sandwich. Dining staff keep an eye on residents' routines and check in personally, offering a warm meal or soup to anyone who isn't feeling up to coming to the dining room.
Outdoor space includes three courtyards, among them a fully fenced dog park, and select apartments have dog doors leading out to it. The community's calendar includes 40 to 50 on- and off-site activities each week, such as live music, fitness classes, and family dinner nights. A full-time concierge helps residents keep track of the schedule, and the LifeLoop app allows family members to view activity participation and photos or receive weekly email updates.
Additional services include weekly housekeeping, same-day maintenance, and flexible month-to-month leases. Transportation is offered for scheduled medical appointments and weekly group outings, including trips to Cripple Creek, the YMCA, and the local senior center, with help coordinating other transportation when needed. The building, which has a long history in Colorado Springs, has been significantly updated in recent years, with fresh interiors and well-maintained outdoor courtyards.
