That was an accident previously meant to send a one star rating. As far as I can determine the facility is not the best and the care is minimal at best. The reviews I’m reading must be from family members of the staff and friends. Initially I thought the care was adequate, however after getting more familiar with them it is subsequent and the staff is not as they present themselves initially. It is a facility where your concerns are not addressed and ignored and protocol is nonexistent . On numerous occasions I have requested call back from the DON (Director of Nurses) April Eure as well as the administration, no one returns calls and when called they send you to voicemail. I would strongly recommend unless you have no where else to send your family or loved one think two or three times before committing them there. If they are terminally ill and no where else to put them, this is the place. Unfortunately some of the staff and administration are so impressed with themselves they don’t care about the patients concerns or needs. When you’re that impressed with yourself you don’t need others to be impressed with you so ergo the lack of caring. I’m so very disappointed in the administration’s and some staff members lack of professionalism, however they show a completely different attitude when other Authorities visit. Not a disgruntled patient, but a patient advocate and concerned caring person who has and have had family in this facility. They can and should do better in my opinion.

This place is ran down and no help! When my mom was there after surgery we were told they don’t do NOTHING but therapy when they are suppose to help. They didn’t give her a pillow, they put her in a diaper and told her to use that because they didn’t want to help her to the toilet (she was trying to get up) they wouldn’t clean her! they brought in food and 15 mins later came around and picked it back up didn’t ask if she needed help. The therapist came in for about 10 mins and basically gave up on her. Had her just laying there in her diaper and gown, no help. She started to decline and had a fever and wasn’t alert at all and they said they couldn’t make the call to send her to the hospital…. We got her to the hospital and her oxygen levels were low and fluid and ammonia in her lungs… I talked to the hospital about everything that happened and they said they are suppose to help and the way my mother was they should of been called the ambulance!

Windsor Grove has improved, offering higher pay a lot of nurses and cna's with in house experiences caring for your love ones. I have had several family members as residents in the past. They did well in taking care of them. Our residents enjoys the food, 30% wants large portions.

The staff at the facility is impeccable the admission coordinator Lindsay Hill, does a amazing job of keeping the building filled, with wonderful people that need the care, she embodies what windsor grove has. We also have an amazing executive director Nakia whitley who in my opinion is the best ED the facility has ever had, she cares about the staff and the residents she has alot of knowledge, of what it takes to run the building efficiently.
