⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a rehab facility where the staff genuinely cares about the people they're serving, Nans Pointe is it. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by people who truly want to help. Jordan in Admissions is an absolute gem—kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and the type of person who can explain everything without making you feel overwhelmed. She made what could have been a stressful process so much easier. Chris, the Administrator, has an open-door attitude and is always willing to jump in and help however he can. It's refreshing to see leadership that's so involved and approachable. And let's talk about maintenance for a second... because when something needed attention, Cris was on it! He was prompt, professional, and had the issue taken care of before I had time to wonder when someone was coming. It's nice knowing every department takes pride in what they do. The entire team works together to create an environment that feels welcoming, compassionate, and supportive. They don't just care for residents—they care about families too. If I had one complaint, it's that the staff sets the bar so high that other places have some catching up to do. 😂 Thank you to everyone at Nans Pointe for all you do every day!

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. I would give zero stars if it was an option. This facility should be ashamed of the way it treats its most vulnerable residents. I waited until after my mother was discharged to post this review, because I feared and with good reason, that she would be subjected to further retaliation if I spoke out while she was still under their care. In the ten days my mother spent in this facility, we never once met the Administrator, the Director of Nursing, or the Assistant Director of Nursing, despite raising multiple serious complaints about neglect, unsafe conditions, and disrespectful staff. Leadership was completely absent, invisible, and utterly unaccountable and hiding instead of addressing the ongoing failures happening under their watch. Families deserve better than a facility that retaliates against patients and refuses to provide even the most basic standards of care, compassion, and dignity. Please do not be fooled by appearances: the building may look somewhat passable at first glance, outside, at night, but the reality inside is very, very different. Inside, especially the patient rooms, are beyond filthy, and no one should have to live out their final days in such conditions. Do not risk your loved one’s well-being here.

I'm so glad that they will accept a donation of a new wheelchair I have , and the arm support for a walker. That I have spare. After the work accident I had on November 2024, at a WM Jordan job, the sheetrock company Ocean Drywall from va.beach stacked sheetrock improperly, with no support, 20 sheets fell on my legs, leaving me disable. Here 10 month later, just learning how to walk and balance. Thanks God I met the IVY Rehab center, for the best support, effort, training,teaching me how to walk. Patrick is the man for my progress. Again thanks for taking my donation for someone in need of a assistance tool.

I had the pleasure of meeting with the new Executive Director of Nansemond Pointe yesterday. I have to say it was most pleasant as his goals are exactly what the community is needing. I walked in, introduced myself to the social worker and she was so welcoming, told us a bit about improvements being made and took me to where I needed to be. I was in the facility during Covid and it wasn't a great experience. Yesterday, I was very pleased with what I observed. It was clean, staff were friendly, patients were smiling and the overall atmosphere was a delight. Being a native of Suffolk, and my father and the majority of my family still residing here, I have no doubt that I would definitely consider this my first stop to meet with Brian and his staff should my family need placement. Thank you Brian for what you are doing to restore this facility to be a great employer, a place for our families can call home, and a positive community resource. I'm looking forward to seeing the positive outcomes of the hard working being put back into our beloved Nansemond Pointe. Thank you. Cheryl Goins
