Lima is the best place to spend your retirement years. There is always something to do and very pleasant people. I've been here 5 1/2 years and am so glad my husband and I chose Lima as our final home. My mom lived here for 13 years and my sister has been here 10 years so you can see, it's a family affair. We all are glad we chose Lima.

I can’t imagine a better place… It's been more than 20 years since Mom & Dad told us they were going to put the family home up for sale and were moving to Lima Estates in Media, PA. I had driven past Lima Estates countless times but knew little about it. Dad and Mom, however, were planners and had done all the research and asked all the questions I would only begin to understand as the years rolled by. My parents moved into Lima Estates in January 2006, almost 18 years ago and loved being a part of this very active, incredibly loving community. Dad passed in 2010 but not before establishing himself as an unofficial mayor of the community. Just ask anyone at Lima Estates about the Wii bowling league and there's a good chance you'll hear about Dad. Mom remained an active, independent living resident until mid-2021 when she relocated across the parking lot to OakBridge Terrace, Lima Estates’ assisted living community. Since then and until Mom’s passing a few weeks ago, the staff cared for her like she was a member of their families, with love and compassion. I never worried about the care Mom was receiving and I never worried about wearing out my welcome with too many questions about her. For nearly 20 years, the entire team at Lima Estates cared for my parents with the love and personal attention most of us reserve for family and our closest friends. I know my parents loved being a part of the Lima Estates community and I am so grateful they made this choice. I highly recommend Lima Estates to anyone looking for the ideal retirement community.

Lima took terrific care of my Aunt, who lived there 15 years and my mother, who lived there 8 years. There caring and compassion as well as their professionalism in all of the departments was greatly appreciated. AAA+ and thank you for everything.

My father moved here is his 90s and loved it! He had outlived 2 wives by that time but found lots of very good friends while he lived here. He played golf, did Wii bowling, line dancing, choir, American Legion and lots of other activities. It was like living in a resort and I am sure it is the reason he lived to be almost 98 and was dancing and singing the night before he got his final illness and left this world. I still try to keep in touch with his friends that remain there. Wonderful people!!
