As a longtime hospice volunteer, I was already familiar with the excellent care at WillowBrooke Court at Brittany Pointe Estates. But when my daughter Jane was admitted with an inoperable brain tumor, the compassion and dedication of the staff went far beyond my expectations.<br>From the moment she arrived, the team treated her with dignity and kindness. Despite her significant challenges, they made her feel comfortable, respected, and seen—something I will always remember.<br>When Thanksgiving approached, I asked if we could have a small family dinner at WillowBrooke Court. What we received was far more: a beautifully set table, personalized menus, and a warm, welcoming experience that gave us one final holiday together with Jane.<br>She passed away 11 days later.<br>We will forever be grateful to the staff for their professionalism, empathy, and the extraordinary care they gave our family during such a difficult time

When I made the decision to start looking at retirement communities, I did a lot of research and visiting and knew immediately when I walked into Brittany I had found the one. You could hear the vitality, feel the youthful spirit and importantly it was a CCRC. After 5 years, I still had my outside interests like<br>dragon boating, kayaking, traveling, but I also got involved with many of the activities offered in my community: water volleyball, water delivery to the total care unit, secretary on the Board of Directors, Phillies games, NYC theatre, just to mention a few. Then I found out probably the most important reason for my decision to choose Brittany. While on an outside trip to the Badlands and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, I had a biking accident and broke my neck (C1 and C2 vertebra). After 2 weeks in ICU, I was flown home and spent 3 weeks at Moss Rehab, then brought back home to the total care unit of BPE where I resided for 4 months. I had 24/7 care by an outstanding medical team, in house physical and occupational therapy, 3 meals a day, and I was surrounded by my network of friends who could walk in to visit and lift my spirits. I gradually reintroduced normal independent activities before moving back to my apartment where I have continued rehab therapy under the care of another highly qualified team of therapists. When I signed that contract to come live at Brittany for the rest of my life, I didn’t realize the extent of what that meant until now. This is the best gift I could ever have given my children and me.

Over the past five years, my experience at Brittany Pointe has been overwhelmingly positive, surpassing initial expectations. The community cultivates a culture of compassion, supported by its residents, dedicated staff, and commitment to quality, including exceptional dining and a high standard of cleanliness. The nursing staff demonstrates remarkable skill.

Living at Brittany Pointe has exceeded all my expectations and hopes. Moving more than 800 miles to an area I did not know and I didn’t know anyone. We were so warmly welcomed and folded into the exciting life here.  The care my husband received in Willow Brooke Court , the medical unit, when he got terminally sick and eventually passed was extraordinary. The support I have received from staff and residents has been so comforting and caring. My new life is full of activities, travel,both one day and even overseas, concerts, plays, restaurants, museums, and so many new experiences.  The staff is so professional, fun and caring.  The residents are the best.  My kids are so grateful that we chose Brittany and the life we have here, and so am I.

My wife and I have been residents at Brittany Pointe for the past six years. Our decision to move to the community is one of the best we have made. The welcoming and active culture of this community has contributed to our enjoyable lifestyle. Negatives are too few to mention. The management staff have been responsible to our requests. From water aerobics to bridge groups, steel drum band to the yearly bazaar, are just a few of available activities. The medical and therapy available are top notch. Brittany Pointe is a wonderful place to call home.
