Do not send your loved ones here. I want to breakdown my thoughts of this place. First of all there are some nurses who really do care about their job and are sweet, but those are few and far between. My grandfather stayed here for a week. When the family wasn’t there he was basically by himself. Leaving him to defecate all over himself is neglectful and demeaning. He was not bathed the entire time he stayed there. This goes for every other patient that is being held within this facility as well. A 30 minute wait for nurses with an attitude not helping nobody after pressing the EMERGENCY button, causing my grandfather to defecate all over himself when nobody was there, even after he had pressed the “emergency” button. The family took better care of him when we went to visit than the nurses do. I understand everyone there is working, doing their jobs and there are other patients to take care of, but their job is to help their patients when needed and they clearly can’t even do that. They don’t care about their patients they just want their money. We had to bring my grandfather home early against doctors orders because he just wasn’t being taken care of at all there and my grandfather wanted to come home so bad. It hurts seeing your family suffer in a place that you expect them to be taken care of, especially if they are being paid to take care of him.

My Dad recently was in short-term rehab for two weeks. Overall, the experience was very positive. All of the staff were pleasant, kind, and gave him prompt attention. The rehab department was excellent and provided great care. The only concern we had was with the food. At times, it was undercooked-for example, he was served raw bacon once-and what was listed on the menu or his selection was not always what was actually served.

My grandma was here for 10 years. She passed away 2 weeks ago thus I want to breakdown my thoughts of this place. First of all there are some nurses who really do care about their job and are sweet, but those are few and far between.As far as the care she received She was not bathed regularly, was often left without necessary pain medication, and had to endure completely unacceptable living conditions—including ants in her room and even rats.She could not feed herself good as she couldn’t really sit up. We asked for finger food for her so she can feed herself, but this request was always ignored so she went hungry some nights. This level of neglect is inexcusable. Families trust facilities like this to care for their loved ones with dignity and respect, but that trust was completely broken. If you are considering placing a family member here, please think twice. No one deserves to suffer in these conditions. I hope serious changes are made to ensure no one else experiences this kind of neglect.

I'm staying at White Oak Manor shebly tonight and I fine it a great place! The nurses are great and so is the cna! You know they get really busy. You got to have alittle patience, they'll be there soon! The food is great! A wonderful place to have rehab!

My 93 year old mother spent 16 days at White Oak for a fractured pelvis and she had the best experience. She loved her nurses and rehab people. She absolutely loved the food!! She came home happy and healthy. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of my mom.
