The staff at Whispering Willows really care! While planning respite care for my mom, I researched and called a long list of places in Western Washington. While no one I spoke to at other facilities was unfriendly, I can say that the person I spoke with at Whispering Willows, Kristie Minkoff, deserves special recognition. Not only was she helpful in answering all of my questions, she guided me in several other related issues that were extremely helpful. Even though her facility wasn't a fit for our mom's needs, that didn't prevent her from spending quality time with me and sharing her expertise in other ways. I immediately took action on her suggestions, which produced a very favorable outcome. I was so grateful to her that I reached out to thank her. She genuinely asked to keep me posted. Wow. Although I haven't seen the actual facility (since I never toured it), I can say that if Kristie is symbolic of the caring and attention available, this is definitely a place to consider. Thank you, Kristie, for your wonderful attitude. It is people like you that are so appreciated in the senior care world! :-)

Whispering Willow is an exceptional dementia care facility-one of a kind! The owners and staff are loving, caring and kind--and we will always be grateful for everyone of them! We watched our sister Karen respond to their love and are so thankful she was able to spend these last months with them! You will always hold a special place in our hearts--Thank you again for all you do!!

I'm extremely thankful for the wonderful care my mom receives at Whispering Willows! The staff are so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable about memory care. They have daily activities for the residents. My mom is always on the move, so I love that there are courtyards for her to safely wander outside and plenty of hallway space that circle around and handrails. The environment is very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Wow - what a wonderful Memory Care Community! As a senior advisor and owner of Almost There Senior Care, I am pleased to give this Family Owned community a glowing review! I have met team members, family members and senior support professionals -- all share - this is a great place to live and thrive. One of Skagit Valley's Best of the Best Senior Living Experts, Kristie Minkoff, does an incredible job both in outreach and supporting seniors and their families! It has been a gift to work with her and observing her impact on the Valley. Brian and I had a fantastic time at their Open House this week raising money for Meals on Wheels! Brian is the only "Poker Dealer" in the Valley trying to let the players win! At the end of the day, a waiting list tells you all you need to know. Thank you to the team at Whispering Willows for being an essential community in the Valley!
