My Mother has been in Whispering Pines for a little over 2 years now and she absolutely loves it there. She loves all of her nurses and they all treat her with so much respect, I couldn't imagine putting my Mother anywhere else. The whole staff is friendly and always greet me with smiles and hugs. Thank you all for taking excellent care of my precious Mother and loving her.

The facility closes down all activities and dining room meals every time someone gets the sniffles this last time it was 2 staff members that have no contact with residents no other facility in the area do this. The residents are forced to stay in their rooms all day and if they don't have any visitors they are alone. Why don't they do what most places do?Put all sick residents in one area and allow the others to enjoy getting out of their rooms. It's not healthy for anyone. The staff doesn't like it either.

We want to sincerely thank the entire team at Whispering Pines for the incredible care they provided my mother after her hospital stay. From the moment she arrived, we were met with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. The staff was attentive to her needs, patient with her recovery process, and always made sure she was comfortable and encouraged. They not only helped her heal physically but also lifted her spirits during a difficult time. It’s not easy to entrust the care of a loved one to others, but lWhispering Pines truly made us feel like family. I’m deeply grateful for the respect and dignity they showed my mom every day. Thank you for all you’ve done — you made a lasting difference in our lives!

Ok so let me first say that I'm only giving 4 stars because my mom has only been there for a few days, for rehab from a hospital discharge. It may go to 5 stars by the end of her visit, we shall see. Also...I haven't been on every hall, just the one she is on. So ...the facility is very well kept. It does not have the typical smell of urine, as most LTC facilities do, which is a welcome relief! The staff that I have interacted with have been helpful and friendly and seem to have a good sense of humor, which is needed in that environment. You know, sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. The mattress on the beds seem pretty cheap and generic and like they could cause pressure/bed sores pretty quickly so hopefully the patients are moving around enough to avoid that. If your family member is here for a long term stay, you may want to invest in a memory foam topper or better mattress, if allowed. Over all, if my mother is ever in this situation again, this will be the place I bring her, no question! I want the staff to know that they are appreciated! They have some of the most difficult, underpaid, under appreciated jobs ever! Thanks to everyone doing the hard, thankless work you do there!
