I was very disappointed with our experience here. My parents were only there for 6 months while some renovations were being completed. Neither were incontinent but I was told the carpet needed to be replaced when they moved out. Literally only there 6 months. Then, they only refunded them on my mom and nothing for my dad, even though they should have had 11 days returned to them. I have been reaching out since April with no resolution. Very unfortunate that the places that claim to take care of our loved ones fall very short.

The loss of the head nurse today from Westview Assisted Living facility is a loss for all of us and our loved ones. She was carrying she was good but she was forced to find something closer to her home and we do not fault her for that we wish her well and we understand what a different she made while she was here.

Moved mom into Westview Assisted Living in April 2025. At first we were really happy with the apartment and the care (Level 1) that she received. The meals are nice, with an ever rotating daily meal special offered in addition to their regular options. Unfortunately, they were never able to get her to do showers, even though from the beginning, this was important to us and brought up multiple times that we wanted her helped with bathing. After a second UTI developed and she had a fall, and was in GREAT confusion, she was hospitalized for a couple days and sent back to Westview with medication (end of July 2025). Mom was not bouncing back, and seemed very altered. I was assured by the Director of Nursing (Sue) that she would receive 2 weeks of Level 5 care after returning from the hospital which was what they normally did without officially making her Level 5 care as a monthly fee. Mom was going downhill fast. Meals were not being eaten and she was losing weight. We installed cameras early August, and were really shocked at what was actually going on. Not only was she not going down for all meals, they didn't even try to get her to often, and after asking if she "wanted" to go down for a meal, if she said "no" they just said "ok" and left the room. They did not do any showers (which were scheduled twice a week) or even offer them. They were not washing her hands or brushing her teeth AT ALL. I went to the lobby to find someone to talk to about the lack of care she was receiving, and burst into tears. They immediately started her as a level 5 care and started charging (short of the 2 weeks for free). I was okay with being charged for the Level 5 care, as I assumed that would officially put her on everyone's radar that she needed that extra care. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The care never got better even when paying an additional $2500 monthly. They did try and transport her in her wheelchair for meals, but she was not eating, and once she was more mobile, she often didn't stay in the dining room, or was not walked down at all, which is part of the extra Level 5 care we were paying for. I started coming every single day to ensure that she got one decent meal a day. I emailed and met in person many times with both Sue and Carrie about mom's care needs not being met. Lots of things were promised, but nothing was coming through for mom's care. Still hands were NEVER washed, baths were NOT being assisted with, or even attempted. I had an incredible amount of stress about mom at this time. I generally consider myself to be understanding, and not a big complainer by any means. When mom had 3 DAYS where she went 24 HOURS without her underpants being changed in a single week, I broke. Visited another facility the beginning of September, and had her out of there within a couple days. We had to continue paying another full month AND the LEVEL 5 care even though she wasn't even in the building. Having only had her at Westview for 5 months, I was shocked at how things ended up going. We loved it at first, but when mom needed extra care, they were NOT able to provide it, no matter how much extra we paid. Sue told me that it was in the nurses/med techs charts to check off each care need daily, so I'm not sure who was checking things off, but they were NOT being done. It was a complete failure. We did decide to move her into memory care at a new facility as we thought maybe with extra care she would do better, and now mom is thriving. She is truly back to where she was back in April, getting around well, eating, content, with an overall improved mental state, that I feel was only because of the better staffing and care that she now receives. I would NOT recommend this facility for your loved ones if they are beyond a level 1 care need. All I can think is if this was happening to my mother, who for the most part was easy going and liked by the staff, what was happening to the rest of the residents there?

I had lunch with my mother. Waste of 16 dollars. Had 3 small Tyson like nuggets no sauce, which i had ordered. 2 florets broccoli. Didn't bring beverage<br>My mom had a cereal bowl of strawberry salad. No dressing. For a beautiful facility the food is subpar.
