We are super happy with the Fountains of West County. We love that the Fountains is privately owned and many of the employees have been working there for years. The place is well maintained, the staff and administration is very responsive. and most importantly, they take good care of our parents. Our only regret is that we wish they would have moved there sooner.

Mom has been in the Assisted Living at The Fountains for about two months. The staff have all been welcoming and friendly to her and have made an effort to get to know her AND the family members who visit. This is evident by the conversations that I've had with staff who take the time to tell me little anecdotes about mom's day or share with me a funny story or any little tidbit that shows me that they know her. ANY little things that need taken care of have been attended to very promptly. Mom recently had a fall and I was impressed by the "Fall Protocol" that they implemented to follow up and keep a close watch on her for several days after. The security and comfort mom feels and the relief we feel to know that her medications are being properly taken and that she is eating a nutritious meal (lots of variety) three times a day is reassuring. There are many opportunities for social activities, games/puzzles and music, "exercise", brain building, etc. We have appreciated that mom is encouraged to attend, but is also respected to make her choice of whether to participate or decline. In our short time with a resident at The Fountains, we have found the facility clean and the staff helpful and kind. Mom notices the efforts taken to decorate for holidays or change the table centerpieces seasonally. It's the little things!

My mother moved to The Fountains this May (2025) from Nebraska. Quite an emotional move for a person leaving their home of 63 years and the place she was born and raised 88 years ago. Needless to say there were a multitude of emotions for my mom but also myself. Worried about her transition I called and visited The Fountains multiple times with questions and concerns (poor staff 😉) and every time I was reassured and walked through the transition and support my mom would receive. Nine months later I am happy, and relieved to say, her transition was better than I anticipated. The staff and management listen and do their very best to accommodate all the residents. My mother’s suffers from macular degeneration and the support she has received, especially with activities, is beyond what I expected. No place is perfect, of course there are hiccups but management is open and willing to listen and accommodate when they can. I love when I visit and get greeting from management and staff and they know who my mom is. The care, support and happiness of the residents is obvious when you walk in the door. The Fountains is family owned not corporate which was an important factor in our decision.

Both my Mother and Father-In-Law are there. Mom in memory care and dad in assisted living. The Fountains is FABULOUS in so many ways. Staff, Atmosphere, Great Meals, and always CLEAN. We are very pleased and satisfied with their care and it gives us Great Comfort.
