First time visiting W. County Care Center staff was Nice and very proficient. Checking in and checking out I love that you can know your family member or friend is comfortable and safe in W. County Care Center. But what I didn’t like was being rush to check out I came with a second person I said they didn’t check out , She said it’s Ok he doesn’t have to check out now that’s not OK they should be addressed I was treated nice checking in because we didn’t understand the process and was told how to do it now she was professional but the second person when we was checking out no not professional we We’re RUSH so Two visitors checked in and only one visitors checked out. That would make you think or make me think that the other visitor was still in the Facility when they weren’t I don’t care if it’s 20 visitors checking out every one should he able to check out. No we did not forget to check out. We were just five minutes late clocking out Still the other person should’ve been able to clock out Young or old.Other than that W. County Care Center Is 5 stars. did not see any negativity only positiveThat’s why I’m given a 5star. I ave no idea why they were given low ratings but this is 2021. And if any changes were made before all I saw no clocks on the walls. . It’s in a safe environment and she’s giving loving care. From the staff making sure the The residents are comfortable. Now the Food.on that day was Spaghetti-and broccoli. it was made from scratch I couldn’t believe it shout out to the cooks and the chef in the kitchen. .Food did not come out of a can believe that HOME COOKING.Again Shout out to the staff in the kitchen. Note: research first, W. County Care Center is number one. Love peace and tranquility is what I felt in the atmosphere at West County Center.

I had to deliver Door Dash to a patient today. One nurse was extremely helpful, and sent the order to the patient for me. I had forgotten the drink for the patient- granted my fault- but the nurse behind the desk was rude. She said, I just couldn't come back here in a snippy manner. She saud you have to ring the doorbell? Then why did it let me in? Also, there is no sign in the lobby or directions for Dashers. Maybe, they shouldn't let the patients order Door Dash, if it is that much if a problem. I shudder to think what kind of care the patients are recieving.

I had a friend there who had a life changing operation and needed help. They did not take care of him like they were supposed to. Which in its self could cause more harm. I do not recommend anyone going there. There staff doesn’t seem to care of the people they seem to just be there for their paycheck. Call buttons would go off and stay going off for more then 30 mins. That’s not how you treat some ones loved one.

Don't even send a dead body here! They'll make it worse! My brother has been there since late April and it is atrocious there but because of insurance reasons he had to stay for at least 60 days beginning on May 1st. He needs physical therapy which they barely help him with. I was visiting him 1 night and he went to the bathroom on himself around 4:45 so I went and informed workers there. I was told that I could not help him that 2 of there people needed to. Well 1 person came and mopped the floor with a bucket of water that smelt like a week of mopping and then left. I kept going out and asking people to help him and was being told that they were short staffed. I left at 8 pm and he told me that they didn't get to him until 9:35. There should be a spot for 0 stars!

This is the worse home ever. Run and don't look back. Please DO NOT put your loved ones here. My dad was in for one month, 19 days out of the month was spent in the hospital. He went in perfectly fine, he just had dementia. The last trip to the hospital they found my dad was bleeding from his scrotum. The hospital said neglect and to not send him back there. He died 10 days later. The staff was just awful, very unprofessional. P.S we took 10 shirts 10 PJ's and he had nothing in his closet. He was sitting with no cloths on in his wheelchair. The girl says he took his cloths off, we knew that was not true since we had to fight with him to take off his cloths. Went to laundry room and couldn't find any of his cloths. Please Dont leave your loved ones here. 😓
