My grandmother recently had a couple week stay here after a fall and hip surgery. At first glace I was pretty concerned as the facility looks in major need of updating. However, the day and evening shift staff more than made up for it! I cannot speak to night shift, however heard some less than stellar feedback from my grandmother and her roommate. Overall, staff were quickly responsive to call lights and anticipated patient needs. They even had her washed up, dressed, and out of bed before we would get there mid-morning. As someone who works in the skilled nursing setting, I was so impressed! Special thank yous to the CNAs Davion and Zoe, Bridget the DOR, Michelle the OT, and Neil the PT (sorry if I got your disciplines wrong). Also, shoutout to the activities director for coordinating therapy dog visits. That was one of the highlights of her stay!

Westfield Gardens is a nursing home where compassion comes first. Kathy, the DON, leads with expertise and empathy. Katrina, the administrator, keeps everything running smoothly and is always helpful. Crystal handles scheduling, ensuring everyone's needs are met. Sarah in HR makes sure the team is skilled and caring. Together, they make Westfield Gardens feel like home.

My mom Erika Teele spent many months at WFG. And although it was quite a drive, I know she received excellent care. I never went in at the same time just as a precaution and I never found any issues. And the compassion they showed my mom during her final days. Was above and beyond. It’s a smaller facility but they care and give it there all. Words can not express my gratitude. Thank you Christel Hendricks (Erika’s daughter)

It is my pleasure to write about how satisfied I am with this facilty. I am a nurse and family member and always want the best for my parent. My parent was in another facility in another city and although it was somewhat elaborate the care was substandard and was never told about the progress or lack of progress my parent was receiving until I demanded a meeting with all ancillary departments taking care of my mother. She needed NH placement but they did not have a bed for her and we needed to get her a place quickly as private pay money was limited. I spoke with the staff at Westfield Gardens who was so lovely and helpful and was in 10” I was on a tour because they had one bed. We immediately moved her when they accepted her and the social worker, nurses, PCAs, activity director have been amazing. The home is modest and small which works for my family but the best part is the care she receives and the communication between family and staff is second to none!
