One of the worst two weeks of my life. Was in for rehab for a total hip replacement. A few members of the staff were great. The others horrible. No empathy and frankly they couldn’t care less. I can go on and on but don’t want to relive my experience there. Go anywhere else but this place.

I was a patient at Warren Barr for Rehab. I had top notch excellent care. Nurses, CNAs and Staff were all so very helpful with everything I needed. Drs listened and gave great advice. I would recommend if anyone needs rehab to check out Warren Barr in Orland Park.

I would not recommend this rehab center to anyone. Our experience was extremely disappointing. The facility was very dirty — we had to ask staff multiple times just to have the room swept or cleaned properly. One of the most upsetting issues was the lack of basic patient care and attention. We found our family member sitting in a completely soaked diaper with nobody checking on them or helping in a timely manner. Medication supervision was also concerning. On more than one occasion, pills were found down our family member’s shirt, which showed staff were not making sure medications were actually swallowed. Response times were unacceptable. When the call button was pressed, it regularly took 30 minutes or longer for someone to respond. I understand healthcare workers are under a lot of pressure and staffing can be difficult, and I truly appreciate the people who work hard in these environments. However, the level of neglect, cleanliness, and lack of attention we experienced here was not acceptable. Families should be able to trust that their loved ones are receiving safe and compassionate care, and unfortunately that was not our experience.
