Overall, my sister enjoyed her stay. Most of the staff were extremely kind. The CNA Supervisor was really helpful and always had words of encouragement. I would recommend this facility.

I highly recommend Walden. The physical therapy room and PT’s are top notch. My mom progressed quickly post hip surgery. The nurses, nursing assistants and administration were all very helpful and accommodating. Ms. Gloria the social worker was especially helpful in answering all of my questions.

My mom is there for PT rehab. No one walks her, they put a diaper on her. When she asked for help to go to the bathroom, she was told, "just go in the diaper, we'll be back to change you". It takes away the dignity of our valuable loved ones.

Don't take your loved ones here if you actually care about them. I saw verbal abuse (staff cursing at a resident). The amount of times the staff wouldn't do the simple task of wheeling a resident to their rooms for meals was nothing more than pure LAZINESS in my opinion. It takes TWO MINUTES out of your day to make friendly small talk with your assigned residents while wheeling them to their rooms! They're more concerned with playing on their phones than providing care though! The place is unorganized and dangerous too. A resident's family member entered the building one day and because they were unhappy with the care their relative received, they said they'd do harm to staff in the building. Is THAT somewhere you'd want your mom or dad?!? This facility is for that abusive uncle from your childhood that you want no contact with. You DO NOT want to stick a family member in here that you actually care about!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU TO TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE! I CRIED MULTIPLE TIMES!
