I put two stars because I can’t comment about the treatment my uncle got when he was there, I don’t know whether it was good or bad. The reason why he can’t tell me whether this place was good or bad is because he contracted COVID-19 from a careless employee and ended up dying from it. He went to this place, immediately got it, and had to go to the main hospital not long after. Think about if this is the place you would like your loved ones to go to. Edit: they should feel lucky I gave them two stars. With their response, I just wanted to add that they were the ones to call and tell us my relative was exposed to someone who had Covid at their place.

I recently was in this facility. The PT dept was wonderful and considerate about my welfare. In fact they helped me get released. But the staffing was horrible. Nurses and medications were ok. Ice water was never offered and bed pans were rough. I learned to transfer and take care of my own needs. Then things got worse. Food was horrible I wouldn't feed it to a dog, they would open my containers and tell me where they were on my plate. I'm also blind. Terrible experience. Home sweet home.

If anyone who has a family member inside this facility, please run, don't walk, run to get them out. I had to take my mom out of that place. I must warn you that they are gonna stonewall, blockade, try to deter, make it difficult and the list goes on, in order for you not to get your love one out. BUT DO NOT GIVE UP or GIVE IN. Be steadfast and resilient. DO NOT give up until your love one is out. They will tell you that they are going to charge 70 cents per page to print the medical records (a total of $1500) Something that can be emailed to anyone's email address.

Second shift nurses do bare minimum. The food my husband is served in his room is awful, barely enough to feed a cat, yet patients that go to the dining room are given more food. The only good nurses aide is Mama D, she is awesome and an asset to them. We also had issues with them giving medication properly. My husband has issues with his blood pressure, so he needs his blood pressure checked before he gets his meds. We argued with them for days before they would do it. One of the nurses put his meds on the table and said, here’s your medicine and walked out

I believe that Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center is the best place in the Middletown area. It was not possible for us to visit our loved one in the first two weeks due to restrictions related to COVID-19. The social worker was in constant communication with us and was actively working on our case. The nursing staff was knowledgeable and familiar with the course of treatment. They were able to inform me of any changes and provide updates on the condition and plan of care. I felt that my family member was truly cared for. I have not experienced this level of attentiveness in other facilities. This institution stands out for the quality of care they provide.
