Visiting Angels has provided the main caregiver for my wife, who has advanced Alzheimer’s. An agency is only as good as the individual caregiver they provide—and in our case, she has been wonderful. Felicia has been the primary caregiver for my wife 5 days a week for over a year. She is like family, and is an amazing, caring professional that is irreplaceable.

One thing I have most appreciated about our multi-year relationship with Visiting Angels is the very personal and immediate response from the owner, Joe von Wiegandt. It is the kind of service you just don't see today. When we have had concerns he was been very prompt to respond and address the situation to our satisfaction. He has always made himself accessible, he listens to us, asks for our input, and performs periodic touch-bases - all to ensure our satisfaction. And, the care giver that our family has truly personifies the term "visiting angel". She has been a godsend to not only our care receiver but to our entire family. Her follow through, attention to detail and her proactive nature have made her a valuable addition to our family. Visiting Angels comes highly regarded and recommended by us!

My father needed around-the-clock care for the last two weeks of his life. We contacted Robyn with the Visiting Angels and we had caregivers scheduled by the next day. The Angels who stayed with my father in his independent living apartment were prompt, helpful and very caring. Initially, my father did not see the need for constant care, but he soon came to rely on the caregivers, and he truly looked forward to their visits. He made several new friends in the final few days of his life. On behalf of my entire family, I would like to thank the Visiting Angels for their caring service to my father.

Joe at Visiting Angels was quick to respond to my initial inquiry, Prompt in replying to questions, friendly and efficient. Christine, who provided care for Mom 3 days a week became a part of our family. She was flexible, willing to do whatever we asked and kind to everyone. She arrived on time, was communicative and had a nice sense of humor. All in all, our experience was a very good one.
