My friend's family opted to put her in Vantage after she experienced a Medical issue and needed 24 hour care for a short period of time. We were not expecting a great deal after she experienced an unpleasant stay at another Nursing facility. To my surprise, Vantage offered excellent care in general. The Administrator was competent and the Director of Nurses was committed and caring, often times going above and beyond. The Nursing staff in general was quite good as was the housekeeping staff. Laundry is always a problem everywhere but comparatively speaking they did quite well in making sure things did not get lost. Items came back folded and fresh. The folks in Rehab were in general, excellent. My only real issue as related to me by my friend was the food service. This is usually a problem in most facilities but they could do more to serve the food hot and provide a better selection. As a former Administrator, I give the facility 5 stars because while things were not perfect, they always tried to do their best despite changes in their corporate hierarchy. The staff has heart and compassion and that is priceless. Corporate please take note.

I really enjoyed the staff. I found the staff not only to be accommodating but also personal, comforting, and always available to my needs. Rehab helped me to get stronger and get all of the equipment I needed to go home. Nursing was always available and helped me in so many ways. I would gladly recommend this place to any and all.

I cannot believe that a place like Vantage exists for care of the elderly in Massachusetts. Staff is incredible and the residents are the result of their care and love. I've volunteered here for nearly two years now with inspirational readings and the residents here are wonderful to be around. I have a close family member that is a resident here and since day one the entire staff exercises professionalism, attentive medical care, nutritional excellence, and personal care practices that go well beyond residential elderly care. My family rests well at night knowing our loved one is cared for at Vantage of Hampden Massachusetts... Robert Foster

The Vantage Activities team is truly remarkable, from the entertainment they provide to their community and fostering diversify activities. It is very important to me that my loved one resides in a place that keeps its seniors active and engaged. Activities Director Keezia and her team, thank you for all that you do for the residents.

I have been here 9 days now and the attention to detail by the CNAs has been terrific! With respect to services needed it has been great. The PT and OT (Andy,Chris,Heidi,Nidia,etc.) have gone out of their way to provide excellent service and have made sure all measures were provided to help get me back where I need to be. All staff from administration (Rachael, Andrew, Stephanie) to nurses and aides (Kathy, Felicia, Leanna) were wonderful! Highly recommend!
