Care at the shook home is terrible.. My grandfather is here and not getting the care he needs. They dont clean the patients when they need it and family has to go in and do it! Then the staff says aww you dont have to do that. Well somebody does because the staff isnt. We expressed our concerns and still no solution.

Sadly I was canceled for an August 12 performance at Transitions Shook in Chambersburg, PA, by Tiffany Kline which has been booked for quite some time. I was the only vendor who stuck with the place through the pandemic, being understanding when there was a quarantine and being flexible with cancellations, including Norovirus, which usually happens when people don't wash their hands and then it spreads from the kitchen. This time, something else came up where she just wanted to free up space in the budget. In checking with Transitions corporate, they confirmed that the budget was not cut, so I was essentially a placeholder until something else came along that she wanted to do. I've performed there since 2018 doing a lot for the community. Hopefully moving forward, other vendors will not be treated this way. If corporate didn't slash the activities budget, then either the local administrator did, or Tiffany just wanted to do something else, but it's close enough to the date now that I probably won't be able to fill that day now.

I wish I could give them 0 stars the staff isn't friendly when you come in they look you in your face and not speak that's if they buzz you in. They will leave you outside. The case worker don't return calls or make sure that everything is in place for your transition out of there. On the temporary side (therapy). The call bell is a joke. I can go on and on. It's very scary no accountability here. Faith is the nicest person here the (CNA) Medicare has a rating of 2 stars go figure.
