I would like to THANK "EVERYONE" at, Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for the exceptional loving care that they gave to my Aunt who was there for a short time. I'm so happy that we were referred to them by Litchfield Visiting Nurse Hospice. We couldn't have picked a better place for her last days with us, she was treated with the utmost love and respect 🙏. I'm sorry that I can't remember each and every person that helped care for her. I do need to Thank, Pat, Chelsea and Holly. For their over the top help with making important decisions. EVERY, Care Tech went over the top with their tender and loving care they gave to her. THANK you to EVERY Nurse, you were all so thoughtful, respectful and caring! She had no appetite, but THANK you to dining for trying. THANK you to the Concierge for always greeting us with a smile and caring words, THANK you to Housekeeping for all of your hard work. THANK you to Maintenance for fixing her heat! I cannot say enough positive things about this nursing facility. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that the staff truly care about their residents. The nurses, aides, therapists, and support staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. Since the new management staff joined, the positive changes in this facility have been remarkable. The leadership is organized, professional, and truly committed to creating the best possible environment for both residents and staff. You can feel the difference in the building — communication is better, morale is higher, and everything runs more smoothly. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where strong leadership and exceptional care go hand in hand.

Was wonderful the nurses listen to you instead of telling you what you need which was very nice housekeeping the place was very clean maintenance kept up with things pretty good and the reason why I say pretty good is because they redone the whole building fresh paint new floors through the whole building including the rooms very nice the staff and therapy was wonderful they listen to me and what I mean by that is one of the questions they asked me was how can we get you better and the other question was what do you need from us to help you get better which was different because usually they tell you what to do they don't listen to you and that's why therapy helped me get through my situation the social worker took her time make sure understood all my paperwork and when I got discharged she made sure understood all my paperwork she was a very nice lady Michelle the administrator she was wonderful I seen her walk around the building listening to what the people needing help them turn around and keep the whole building running as a team with a smile on her face the time I was there was excellent and the most important part was they listen to you

A excellant staff very attentive to the needs of patients. Makes sure all medinces are given on time. Will take time to answer questions about meds. Adminstration and mantinace respponed to question and need. Rooms are cleaned and the food is good.
