We moved our mother to The Village of St. Edward in Wadsworth after a three-month stay at a previous community in Bath. What an incredible and immediate difference this transition has been for her care and happiness, with a heightened emphasis on community cleanliness and overall excellence! She's living a new, rewarding life after the passing of our father last June, and this is a blessing beyond comprehension. The staff frequently refers to her and to us as "family," and that's exactly how we've been treated from day one. The nursing staff and caregivers (they should wear angel wings!) are incredibly compassionate and patient, and she trusts them completely. I call there (and visit) often, and they always answer the phone -- a total relief. She loves the meals and variety of food options, plus the enrichment activities (musical performances, worship services, country rides/ice cream outings, exercise/dance activities, etc.) that Janice plans for assisted living and memory care residents. Everything about this community is first-class: From the receptionists who greet you once you enter the building, to the security team who takes over at 8 pm. We can rest at night knowing she's safe and protected. The maintenance folks are quick to accommodate repairs and help at a moment's notice, and the grounds outside are beautiful. What's even more valuable is the team approach to her overall care, and being able to meet with all levels of the organization to calibrate adjustments to her care plan. We can't sing enough praises about Bethany (Administrator), Jenn (Nursing Director), Mindy (Admissions/Marketing Director) and the entire care team (Amy/Traci/Lisa/Lora/Rachelle/Sierra/Jesse/Samantha/Maddy/Christina and more) who go above and beyond in their roles at this community. If you are considering moving your loved one to a community, please schedule a tour with Mindy and entrust their care to The Village of St. Edward in Wadsworth. My Grandmother was welcomed with the kindest, open arms to the Village of St. Edward - Memory Care in Wadsworth. The process from start to finish for enrollment was met with ease, support, information, care and consideration by the Administrative and Nursing Staff. The facility was clean, comfortable and very modern. Grandma felt right at home in her more than suitable "apartment". The room was spacious, safe and everything she needed was at her disposal. The care she received from ALL staff was impressive and everyone became more like family. I knew I could call in with any concerns or they could call me with any concerns or changes. They took care of her as they would their own grandparent. I always new she was in the best of hands. We utilized the house doctors and pharmacy with no issues. Her meals were always nutritious, never mundane and we had the peace of mind that she had proper nutrition on her plate and always wanted seconds. She was safe and felt safe. St Ed's - Wadsworth Memory Care was the blessing she needed to get through the next stage of her life with ease. We are forever grateful to the staff (our friends) and the residents and their families for being a part of her transition to the next chapter, as well as ours. Never forget, 2 pieces of Chocolate can fix almost anything! <3 Thank you!

We're approaching a year since my father moved into an apartment at the Village of St. Edward. The experience has been superb and the staff works together to accomodate my father's needs on a daily basis. We notice that the staff makes an effort to always greet residents by name and make them feel at home. As his needs have evolved, the staff has been great at communicating options via phone calls, in-person discussions, and formal meetings. The events for the residents and families are amazing and when dining with my father, we're always impressed with the quality of the dining experience.<br><br>When asked about his home at the Village of St. Edward, my father says it best, "I love it here!".

Visiting this facility you feel at home! Everyone is so welcoming and caring about every situation! The staff goes above and beyond for their residents, if you need an assisted living/memory care place for your loved one, this is it!!!
