For over 50 years, The Village of St. Edward has provided care for the aging that honors the sacredness of life and protects the dignity of each resident. We foster a deep sense of belonging, encouraging you to safely discover and affirm your unique identity, independence, and wellness in a shared community of mutual acceptance and caring.

Our Story

Today, The Village campus community serves more than 270 older adults. Through its ministry, The Village of St. Edward has touched the lives of thousands of family members and friends.

This is the story of how two dedicated Catholic activists recognized the need for such a place and Along with Catholic Charities, the Sisters of St. Dominic, and countless volunteers and donors Brought the dream to life.

Each apartment features a full kitchen, a large bathroom with specially designed safety features, and more.

Assisted Living offers a bridge between independent living and nursing care. This specially designed, active neighborhood allows fun and friendships to blossom while providing assistance with all activities of daily living. Each unit features a full kitchen and a large bathroom with safety features specially designed to promote independence. Each resident is given a pendant for service at the touch of a button.

The Village’s Skilled Nursing Center provides the highest quality of care, life, respect, and independence for those needing round-the-clock nursing care and assistance. Each patient receives an individualized care plan. Offering a full range of medical services, The Village is licensed by the State of Ohio, certified by the Federal Government, and accredited by The Joint Commission, an ac creditor of health care organizations. The Village also provides post-acute care including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
